I need some help here folks, new computer Windows 7 Sp-1 64 bit IE9 Windows live mail 2012 latest version.

Go to the view tab & look at the calendar pane. Is it lit up & the calendar showing? Mine is not, it's just the opposite, calendar showing &

calandar pane not lit up like it is on my other computer W7 WLM 2012. How can this be fixed? Dell doesn't know & messes up something else when they work on it & Microsoft doesn't even want to discuss it. Nothing on the web about this problem either. Calendar pane should be lit up w/ calendar showing, know that for sure.

Anybody out there with a solution???

I have done a repair in windows live essentials, & uninstalled & reinstalled WLM & it still doesn't work?????

Thank you,

Eddie

Trying to learn windows 8 live mail I clicked on something that lost all my personal folders in live mail.  How do I find them again?

One other question I have is I would like to insert different names at the end of the email.  I have different business's so cannot make a standard one signature need a different one for different emails.

Thank you, Connie

original title: Live Mail not opening a new Message

When I open my mail, and am reading an e-mail, if I click on an e-mail address nothing happens.  ALL my e-mail programs open a new message when I do this but Live Mail will not.
Secondly, When I am browsing a site with e-mail links like craigslist or whatnot, when I click an e-mail link, instead of opening a new message the dang thing opens a New Browser window.  How do I correct this?  Thank you.

When I try to send an e-mail, I get this message:

The server does not support a SSL connection.

Subject 'Fw: '
Server Error: 250
Server Response: 250 8BITMIME
Server: 'smtp.att.yahoo.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC7D
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): Yes

I am a home user with an internet connection that IS working.  Also I am receiving emails via Windows Live Mail.  I was able to send messages until 5/26.  Using the repair solution mentioned for a customer (5/26/2013) did not work.

I can not get my G-mail to work connected.
When trying to attach a file to my outgoing e-mails, my windows shuts down and goes offline. My "attachment " icon has disappeared and am trying to add attachments via the "insert" drop down box.... What's the fix?

I tried to open up my live mail this morning, but it wouldnt open up

It came up with the usual signing in, then it went on to recoving a database, then came up with a error report (which it sent to MS)

I have no idea what the error report contained, but then it just shut down

I went on to try a repair, it never worked

I un-installed it then re-installed it

Now everytime I try and open it, it tries to recover this data base, then sends an error report, then shats down

Can anyone help please or give any advice ?

Its fine on my laptop, just my desk top PC

My profile on Windows 7 crashed and I created a new profile. I was using Windows Live Mail and had to reinstall the same on the new profile. I copied the storage folder (alongwith subfolders) from the old location C:\Users\<login name>AppData\Local\Microsoft\ and put it under the same path in the new login name but it does not shw up once I open Windows Live Mail.
