I am on a Windows Live account from my school, and my Live account ends with @lesley.edu. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, and my PC is a HP Pavilion G6. I am connected to a 25 Mbit/s Internet connection that works for other uses. My Skydrive works on my desktop. It's setup as a "Windows Live/Hotmail E-Mail Account" for server settings. I setup Windows Live Essentials Mail just yesterday, so it's had a day since it said it had a "few minutes" to sync my E-Mail. Even new E-Mail I sent through my GMail account to my Live account doesn't get downloaded to my Live on my desktop, but I can access it as normal on my Webmail Outlook.
From one day to an other all of sudden I couldn't download my emails on Windows live mail. I use Comcast connection and my server is from Italy.
Every time I open the Windows live mail this appears:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Libero (....[my name]...) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.
Server Error: 0x800CCC90
Server Response: -ERR [AUTH] POP3 access not allowed
Server: 'popmail.libero.it'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
I know the account name and password are correct, so what's the problem?
When trying to send .jpg photos in the normal way, I get the response "prohibiited file type". What can I do to restore
normal activity?
