In Windows Live Mail 2012 in Quick Views "Flagged Items" shows 1 yet there are no messages that are flagged

Contacts freeze in windows live mail

Hi, I loaded Windows Live Mail on my PC with Windows 8. Windows Live Mail works fine until I try to open contacts folder, then the program freezes (not responding) and I have to restart Windows Live Mail. Contacts work fine when sending mail. Had same problem on another PC with Windows 7. Contacts folder started freezing after I noticed  the word Facebook showing up under some of my contacts.

How do I change the order in which mesaages are received in Windows Live Mail

In Outlook Express I received messages by date received.  In Live Mail I'm getting them listed alphabetically, which I don't like.  How to change?

windows live mail is telling me there is a newer version available but I cannot get any infor about what it is

when I open my windows live  mail, in the body of the window there is a message that says, there is a newer version of windows messenger is available.  Is this pertaining to Windows 7.  I can`t get any info at all on what this about.  Am I supposed to press yes to install this new version  Thanks.

Windows Live Mail randomly checks for new messages

I like to check for new mail on webmail and manually download messages, but Windows Live Mail randomly checks for new messages, even though the "Check for new messages every X minutes" option is not selected.

Unable to send Yahoo emails from Mail client

I have a Surface RT, with the native mail client handling my Yahoo account. Im able to recieve emails sent to this account, but I'm unable to send emails, as they end up in the Outbox. What is the solution for this? When I try to sync, I see a Message saying unable to sync. These issues are new, having only started in the last 2 days. I've had my Surface since October

Lost mail

For some reason the items in my inbox showed up in my husband's inbox. When I deleted them from his inbox, they disappeared from my inbox. Is there any way to retrieve them?

Problem sending emails in live mail

Hi,

I have been having a problem all day with trying to send messages from my live mail. For some time before this the mail would not open for a few minutes, sending a message that there was a problem opening the file. It would finally open after a bit.

Today I am unable even to reply to messages. The box says that there is a problem but offers no solution.

Help!

Windows Live Mail will not open.

 If you ctrl alt delete and close from task manager it will open again.  This happends three of four times a day.

Windows Essentials  2011. I have installed Windows Essentials 2012

 I have repaired and deleted and reinstalled. No Joy
