I have uploaded a file from my video camera to my computer and then to skydrive, its a rather large file and can't be sent via email. I am able to share the file but the recipients on the other end are unable to open it. The get a message saying they must sign in or have and account. I do not have any permissions against them and I have shared things with them in the past and there was no issue...stumped.

a couple of days ago my email folder disappeared.  It was created about 6 months ago and held 120 unread emails.  It just disappeared and I have looked everywhere for the emails:  In Deleted, by Unread, by Sender, and in all the other folders to see if it got caught up somewhere else.  Has anybody ever had a folder or sub-folder go missing?  Thank you.

I have 2 problems:

1. Windows live mail.  When I opened windows live mail, it said:  Windows live mail could not be started.  It may not be installed corretly.  It shows error

   (0x80041161)

    My disk is not full.

2.  Outlook.com.  Cannot read my e-mail in Outlook.com.

I am using windows 7 home premium.

What is the next upgrade for windows 7 home premium?

Thank you.

I CAN ACCESS MY HOTMAIL ACCOUNT FROM MY iPhone, BUT NOT MY LENOVA LAPTOP OR MY NEW KINDLE HDX. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I'm running Windows 8.1 with Internet explorer 11 and since updating to Windows 8.1 I can no longer open attachments to Windows Live email that contains a photo.  Icon has a red X in the middle of the icon.  Won't view as slide show either.

Suggestions say to allow all attachments.  Did that and had the email forwarded to me again but still can't open the attachment.  Strange is that my wife on her Windows 7 computer can open the files with no problems.

Tried adding the email address of the person sending the email as always accept attachments but that did no good either.

Had a customer who reported the same problem with some of her customers but back then a couple of weeks back before upgrade to Windows 8.1, I could open the file, so thought she was doing something wrong.

Removing all the security still won't let it open or download the attachment.

I go to my Hotmail account and log in and it is telling me there is a problem what do I do

My client is using Outlook.com. On her W7 PC she uses Outlook 2010 with the Hotmail Connector. Every day or two she finds herself again unable to send or receive email. I remote in, open OST file in SCANPST and it has errors. After several passes -- 2 with no errors -- I open Outlook and mail is flowing again. Wait a day, same problem all over again.

Chkdsk finds no problems with the HDD. HD Sentinel reports no problem with HDD, either.

Would her having a number of folders in the Inbox cause problems when syncing with Outlook.com? She has a number of folders in the root of the account, too.  Can Outlook.com and Hotmail Connector tolerate folders Outlook's Inbox?

The OST file is about 6GB with 29K messages.

I exported all mail from 2012 and older to a PST file, then deleted them from the OST file. I moved the subfolders from the Inbox to the root of the account.

I checked the OST file using SCANPST and again there are errors. Fixed them. I then opened Outlook and started looking for a way to compact the OST file. Looked in all the usual places for compacting PST and OST files but found no such option. My suspicion is that it's not possible with Hotmail Connector and/or Outlook.com. Is this correct?

So, I left Outlook running overnight in hopes that the many deletions and folders moves will be sent to Outlook.com. I'm also hoping that the OST file will shrink of its own accord because I read somewhere that that's supposed to happen.

If none of my suppositions about the cause of OST corruption are valid, any suggestions?

I received the error message "You've reached the daily limit for uploading and downloading files.  Try again tomorrow."  What is the daily limit?  I have not been able to find the limit anywhere.  Thank you.
How come my trash bin will not empty?
I have tried many times to keep myself singed in to Outlook by check marking the option when I sign in. After closing my email and internet browser, the next time I sign into the internet to MSN it shows my outlook tab, but when I click I have to sign in again. My husbands account keeps him signed in but mine does not. What do I have to do to be kept signed in?
