having problem with send receive in outlook express 6

i m using outlook express 6 with yahoo mail. now whenever i hit  send/receive it downloads all mails starting from the day i created account. it is done everytime. need help if anyone can fix this?

i have windows xp sp2 v.2002 but with seven remix and i can't install windows live messenger in my computer , this message keep appear to me

Hotmail me sale en letras azules y se bloquea todo el hotmail, no tiene acceso a nada, ni a cerrar cesión.

En el hotmail me sale todo en letras azules y no me deja acceder a nada, tengo 5 computadores con Windows XP SP2, memorias de 512. Agradezco me ayuden a resolver este problema.
