I have a recurring problem with Windows Live Photo Gallery. Every time I restart my computer, the screensaver will no longer start. The only solution I have found is to delete  Windows Live Photo Gallery and it's associated folders and then reinstall. This is not very convenient, there must be something else I can do. I am running Windows 7 professional.

Recently I worked with Microsoft help to roll back my windows 8.1 update to 8.0 and reinstall 8.1. as a consequence I had to reinstall Microsoft Live essentials. When I reinstalled windows live photo gallery I realized I no longer had all of the tags and descriptions that I had so painstakingly applied. Is there any way to retrieve my old .pd6 file or re associate my lost tags?

when I try to open a picture from my library windows live photo gallery closes

I used to be able to send photos from the Gallery to Facebook.  Recently I changed my Password and now when I try to send pictures I get this error message:

ERROR VALIDATING ACCESS TOKEN.  THE SESSION HAS BEEN INVALIDATED BECAUSE THE USER CHANGED THE PASSWORD.

What can I do to fix this so that I can continue to send pictures from my Photo Gallery.

I have cropped a document using Windows Live Photo Gallery and want to insert into email text. I don't want to send it as an attachment but part of written text. Can anyone give me instructions please. Thank you.

I am told Windows Live Mail can't be started because MSVCR110.dll is missing, and I get the same message when I try to start Movie Maker and Windows Live Photo Gallery.

I opened Programs and Features and tried to repair all 3 programs. Repair was apparently successful, but I still get the same message for all 3 programs.

I then tried to reinstall all 3 but was told Windows Live Mail could not be in stalled and that failure prevented the other 2 programs from installing.

URGENT help resolving this problem would be appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

Roy

The windows live photo gallery application always opens at the back of what ever else i've got open? Why when i open a photo does it load the application to the back of my windows? why doesn't it open to front like every other normal app?

needs fixing this does, its dead annoying when your looking for pictures and you have to keep clicking alt- tab or in the task bar to go on to it.

kind regard's

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. Intel Core i3 2.53ghz 3.00gb ram

The problem: Windows Media Player plays sound not video, just displays the first frame. WINDOWS LIVE MovieMaker has a system error "The progam can't start because d3dx10_41.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".
Windows Live Photo Gallery will not display pictures " Windows Live Photo Gallery encountered an error loading WLXPhotoViewer.dll and can't start. Error code 0x8007007e"

Noticed this issue soon after using my TV as a second screen via HDMI.
Is there a simple solution to this? Like re-installing the Display Adapter?

I made a movie slide show using Windows Live Movie Maker.  I had edited some of the photos, using Windows Live Photo Gallery,  before including in the movie---and I notice that with each playing of the movie, some of these photos enlarge so that I am losing the tops and bottoms of the pictures.  How can I prevent this?

Also--how can I learn more about the size of original and cropped photos in general---seem to have a lot  of variation and I don't understand all factors involved.

Up until recently Windows Live Photo Gallery was working, all of a sudden I was getting this message saying WLPG encountered and error and can't start

Error code 0x8007000b. I have tried everything to get it to work and it won't. I have checked all the forums and rang Microsoft who were useless. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how  did you  fix it.
