I have a laptop and a desktop both running windows 7 home premium and windows live mail 2012. When I am using the e-mail account on either device and delete an e-mail it does not delete it on the other devise. Is it possible to link the two computers so if I delete on one it will do so on the other?

Have been using Windows Live Mail 2012 for a year and it stopped working 2 days ago. Get the Following message.

Suddenly unable to send any outgoing email.

I am a Time Warner Cable subscriber. For the last two days, I have been on the phone and live chat with TWC attempting to resolve the issue. After TWC tech support led me through a reconfiguring of email settings, the problem was resolved....or so I thought. That was yesterday 16 Jan.

As of this morning, 17 Jan, I could send email. As of 1300 I could no longer send any email.

Each attempt to send resulted in receiving an error message stating:

This message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing email (SMTP) server might need to be reconfigured. To find the server settings for ********@roadrunner.com please contact your email service provider.

TWC then suggested calling the Microsoft  support @ 800-642-7676...they in turn suggested I use this venue.

So, how do I fix the problem.

I have three email accounts in my Windows Live Mail - two Hotmail and one Outlook.

The Outlook account has a problem. When I highlight an email in the Inbox and press Delete, nothing happens. If I right-click and choose Delete, nothing happens. I can drag the mail to the Deleted items folder. The other accounts work fine. This behaviour is consistent on a couple of PCs that I have tried so it seems to be a property of the email account itself.

I have refreshed my Windows Live programs. I've deleted and reinstated the account in Windows Live Mail. The problem remains.

I am having problems receiving email from certain senders. They do not appear in the junk folder and I am able to receive email from the same sender to my Gmail account. This is true whether I use the Windows Live Mail 2012 application or if I check the Outlook web mail interface.

Anyone have an idea what might be wrong?

Thank you.

I have Windows Live Mail 2011 and Windows 7.  I want to take some group emails (not my entire address book of emails) and save them in a Word 2010 file, so I can copy and past them into an email.  When I get several of these groups together, I want to send the Word file to another person, so that person can use the ones she wants to send emails.

When I try to save a group as an csv file it does my whole address book instead of the group I want and it is an excel file. (That doesn't look like a csv file to me.)  What would I have to do and what form would it have to be in to save it as a horizontal file in Word?

I am trying to do this so a new secretary at a new location with a different email program can send out emails that I used to have to do.  If anyone has any knowledge of how this can be done, please let me know.  It would be greatly appreciated. I have been trying to figure this out for some time. I need a detailed explanation.  Thanks in advance.

Windows 7 using Windows Live Mail 2012 (desktop client).

How do you work the following example without going through SkyDrive?

Example:  Right-click on picture file on computer, choose “Send to – Mail recipient,” have Windows Live Mail open with a new message and the file attached.

What happens now is a new message opens and the file is said to be on SkyDrive for others to see when they read get my e-mail.  I want it attached directly to the e-mail like it did in my last OS: Windows XP.

The picture file is 305 KB.  When I try with a Word file, it works fine.  When I try with a PDF file of 2.95 MB, it works fine. So it seems to be only with pictures.  I have tried others.

The default e-mail application is Windows Live Mail 2012, and all associations are set for it.

I have problem with the Contacts in Windows Live Mail and Windows 8.1.

When you sign in Windows Live Mail all the contacts are held on line.

When you sign out of Windows Live, I have Imported a  copy of contacts offline to the contacts folder in WLM.

THE PROBLEM IS, YOU WILL THEN FIND DUPLICATE ENTRIES, When you sign in Windows Live Mail all the contacts are held on line, YOU REMOVE THEM, THEY WILL THEM COME BACK WHEN YOU GO BACK IN WLM!!.

This does not happen on my windows 7 machine so what is the problem?

The emails that I want to send don't go in Outbox folder but they lend in newsgroup and because of that they are not send.

Already recreated my 3 email accounts and Windows 7 is a fresh install with all updates. Windows Live Mail is latest version 2012.

Any idea why would that happened.
