Without warning I was unable to access my windows live mail, contacts and calendar. I have tried to find the file msvcr110.dll without success. The error message is now 0x80041161. Can you advise on next steps?  I have windows 8 installed and assumed I would be virus/trojan free. I can access my web mail but my folders and contacts lists are important; my last back up was two months ago and missing key stuff. Yes, I know.

Hi,

I am running Windows Live Mail to get my yahoo emails over to my local hard disk.

Found out Windows Live Mail basically just downloaded all the folders name, and I
have to click on each one, and then that folder's emails start to download.
Furthermore, for folders that have more emails (say 200 or more), you only get the
emails names, and have to click open one email to get its content to download!
Doing this one by one??
Is there some settings/ways to make Windows Live Mail to automatically download
ALL emails of ALL the folders from yahoo?

thanks for the help!
I had a connection problem with my standard e-mail account (sent mail did not go out); since resolved, but one of sent e-mails keeps coming up as error message each time I open the account ("do you now want to send" ?); when I choose "yes" I again get the same message, but all I want to do is cancel / remove this original send e-mail ..... Can anybody help?? Thanks.

Whenever I try to email photos directly from the "email" function of Windows Photo Gallery I get this error message and nothing happens.  The full error message is:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (ttglarm) account.

Subject 'cc'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20007

I tried to follow the instructions to "add an account to Windows Live Mail, to just re-add this account, but the instructions didn't work.  When I click the Start button and search for "Mail" it just brings up a list of old email messages sent via Windows Live Mail.  I didn't see any listing for "Windows Live Mail".

How can I set the timing of the send/receive command?

I'm having the same problem but with some twists. I have photos in Picasa that up to about a week ago I could send anywhere by WLM but that has now stopped.  I select the photo....click "e-mail" and they go into an e-mail just like always but will not send.

This is what I get from WLM:

0 Delete the photo email, create a new one and try to send again.

Sever 'mail.intelos.net'

Windows Live Mail error ID 0x8CCC0002

Protocol SMTP

Port 25

Secure (SSL) no

0 The message could not be sent because it could not be split into smaller parts.

Now, The same message but with the WLM error ID 080042OCA  was repeated 66 times in it.  SIXTY SIX TIMES!  And there are only 36 pictures in the group.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium.  I have checked with Comcast and all settings to and from the Server are correct.  I have run the Windows repair for WLM, scanned the computer for viruses, etc., but still get the error message.  E-mails are going into my Comcast.net account, but not coming over into WLM.  Have also tried selecting and deselecting the "work offline" option.  No luck.  What's next???  Thanks.

I have now provided a copy of the error message I receive.

There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative.
