let me ask you this - if i do move the emails as you suggest, are the emails still linked to my Yahoo account? I am afraid if i close my Yahoo account the emails will disappear from my outlook.com account.
I only ask this because I sent an email (which bounced back and pointed me to these forums) from my outlook.com email and the bounce-back went to my yahoo.com account.

I don't understand how changing my yahoo email into an outlook alias works. Will my yahoo emails automatically forward to my hotmail account? Will I be able to open the Yahoo emails in my Hotmail account? Can someone please explain.

Over the past 3 days, I have removed and reinstated a yahoo account from outlook.com. The emails from the yahoo account were being sent on to me when I initially "fixed" the problem, but as of this morning, I am again without having the yahoo emails sent
via pop3 to my email. Please help as I can't find anyone to call for technical support.

Found out Windows Live Mail basically just downloaded all the folders name, and I
have to click on each one, and then that folder's emails start to download.
Furthermore, for folders that have more emails (say 200 or more), you only get the
emails names, and have to click open one email to get its content to download!
Doing this one by one??
Is there some settings/ways to make Windows Live Mail to automatically download
ALL emails of ALL the folders from yahoo?
