It used to be easy back with Outlook but with Windows Live Mail, I can't find a way to add multiple email addresses from a single email to one group contact.  Is there a way to batch add that doesn't involve adding one at a time, and adding them to a group, and hope I didn't miss someone?

When I save a windows live mail email as an email file, I am unable  to open it in windows live mail. it requires me to open it in outlook which is not on my computer. How can I open my saved file in windows live mail?

In my Windows Live Mail,  about 50% of my incoming mails  are tagged as SPAM.  This begun and continues over the past months,. How  can I eliminate the spam tagging?

<Moved from Feedback>

I run Windows XP sp3, and had Windows live mail  version ( Build 14.0.8117.0416 ) installed.    Recently I've had a lot of problem with it closing down, saying it has encountered a problem and has to close.   I then lost all my E-Mails saved in named folders in the In box, followed by the ability to send mail.   But now I have lost the ability to open LIve Mail.   When I try to open it, what happens is this:

Windows Live Mail Storage Recovery Window opens.   Almost immediately another window opens called Windows Live Mail, stating:

"Windows Live Mail could not be started.   The application was unable to open the Windows Live Mail message store.   Windows Live Mail was unable to locate it's message data base.   If you've moved the database files to a new location, click Ok to reset the database path to that location.   Otherwise, click cancel to proceed, any existing messages found will be available under Orphaned Accounts. (0x00000000, 2)."

When I cancel a new window opens called Windows Live Mail, stating:

" Windows Live Mail could not be started.   The application was unable to open the Windows Live Mail message store.   Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full. (0x8000FFFF, 1400)"    On checking neither my memory or disk  was full.

Also tried clicking OK, to the other Window to no avail.

I am concerned that I will lose my contacts lists, is there anyway I can recover this, and how do I remove Windows Live Mail from my system?

I cannot reply to an open mail message or forward an open message or closed for that matter.

I get a message that says "A problem occurred when trying to open this message. A problem occurred please try again," any time I try to reply, forward or open the new message box to create a new email.

I did a system update from Microsoft and this was the result. I tried going back to an earlier system restore but that did not work. Where to look?

Unable to send or receive messages for the Live (XXrestorations) account. There was an unexpected error and Windows Live Mail can't sync the messages in your Hotmail account. To sync your messages, in Windows Live Mail, remove your Hotmail account and then add it again. To view messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com on the Web.

When I use Windows Live Mail to send an email with photos inserted WLM re processes the photos & makes them blurry. Past advice was to resize them to 96dpi which did not help. As a photographer I can't have this happen, how can it be fixed?

Thanks, Craig.

I have Win7 Home Premium and the Live Mail quit working. I uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Live Essentials 2012. When I click on the icon it will not open the program. I have tried to "repair" in the control panel. It did not make any difference. When I look at the Task Manager wlmail.exe*32 is running under processes but under applications there is no application running. I have also tried to right click and "run as administrator" to no avail. Any idea will be appreciated.
Today my Windows Live Mail started behaving strangely.  I'm online.  I can get to the internet via a browser.  To my knowledge I didn't change anything.  But when I try to sync my hotmail account through Live Mail (which I've never had trouble with before), it tells me I'm currently working offline and would I like to work online.  I click yes, and the same window pops up again asking the same question.  If I click it several times in a row, it does eventually disappear, but doesn't sync and will pop up again if I hit the sync or go online buttons again.  I have closed and reopened the program.  I've also rebooted my machine.   I can receive email through the live mail site, but I prefer to use the program.  Any suggestions?
Outlook express allows a split screen with the message below the listing. As you scroll through the email list the message appears below.

How do I do this in Live Mail? At present only the listing appears. I have to double click the item to see the message.
