Problems with Windows Live Mail 2012

Hello,

I use Windows 8 Pro and Windows Live Mail 2012 - this has always worked very well.

Since a few days after opening of Live Mail I have this Problems:

- First appears "Windows Live Mail 2012 will start"
- Then a window comes with "restoring the Windows Live Mail Database"
- After the login window comes
- But right after that comes the following error message:
   "Windows Live Mail no longer works. The program is not properly executed because of a problem., The program will close and you will be notified if a solution is available." And I only can "close the program"!

I've also done a system restore - but it doesn't help.

Windows Live Mail will no longer connects to the host ISP server.

I have uninstalled the Windows 2012 Live Mail program and reinstalled it.  I have signed out of the account and signed back in.  All to no avail.

 

The Error message reads as follows:

 

Server: "POP.charter.net

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E

Protocol: POP3

Port 995

Secure(SSL): Yes

Socket Error: 10060

 

Able to read the Saved Mail already on the program.  Able to update the Calendar.  Just can't connect to the ISP host server to send or receive messages.

 

Not sure where to go from here.

Windows Live Mail

I received an email that had photos embedded in the email (not as attachment). I forwarded that email to another person and that person received 11 copies of the email and each copy of the email contained a series of thousands of characters but no photos.

I received another email which also contained embedded photos (not as an attachment). I forwarded this email to other people and myself. everyone, including myself) received 11 copies of the email. Each of this emails contained only an attachment file which I could not open.

I am not currently aware of problems with emails which do not contain embedded photos.

Can you please help me????

I cant do anything on windows live mail keep getting errors  Id:0x080048848   ID: 0x080072EE7

I am a senior person and I'm not an IT expert please help.

In lay mans language would be a great help thank you

I received the server 3204 and error code 0x8DE20003 when accessing my account through Windows Live Mail.

Read most of the responses and it appears I need a server side reset.

 

I cans end the log file if I am given a link to upload it to.

 

I do not want to go to the website to send my mail.
