Windows Live Mail in Windows 8 will not download images in e-mails.

Windows Live Mail in Windows 8 will not download images in e-mails.  And yes, I have unchecked the box for "Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail". Every time I close down and reopen Windows Live Mail the images will download for the first few minutes, then will stop downloading again until I close and re-open the program again.  How do I get the images to always download?

When I click on the Windows Live Mail icon on the Desktop, I keep getting these three window boxes. The smaller of the three shows the following:

Logon - MSN (sorianofcjr)
Please enter your username for the following server.
http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0
Username:  *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Password _ (I don't know the password)

The second box shows the following:

Windows Live Mail
checking for new messages on MSN(sorianofcjr)
Tasks
Check for new messages on MSN(sorianofcjr)       Executing
Check for new messages on SAN.rr(fsoriano1)

The third (largest box which appear first) shows the following:

Windows Live Mail
sign in to Windows Live Mail
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Password (I don't know)

NOTE:  that the "checking mail" at the bottom right hand corner of the screen freezes until I delete the smallest of the three boxes. Further, if this information is relevant:   I have two PCs. PC1 has Win7 Ultimate 64 Bit while PC2 has WinXP 32 Bit. PC2 has Outlook express and the e-mail I use is: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. PC1 (Win7 did not have Outlook Express) has Windows Live Mail and Outlook and had two e-mail addresses: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Is there anyway to prevent these three boxes from appearing everytime I click on the Windows Live Mail icon?

In Outlook Express 6 on Windows XP, I had a separate Identity for me and my wife with our own email section containing folders and the Inbox, outbox, sent, etc.  I am moving from this to Windows live Mail in windows 7 on a new computer.  I exported my files/folders and set up Windows Live Mail for me.  How do I set up my wife with her own account like we had in OE6?  I surfed the internet and Microsoft home page and can't find any help.  Thanks

Like many others, I am no longer able to use Windows Live Mail for my msn.com email account.  I receive Server Error: 3204 Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003.  I already have removed and tried re-adding my account several times but the error message continues as well as reinstalling live essentials 2 times. one of the affected accounts does work on an other machine with Windows live mail. the other account is just configured on the machine where it does not work.  fast help is appreciated.

     Can someone please help me with this issue? I am still running XP and I use Windows Live Mail to send and receive all my email. Can someone please tell me how to get a digital I.D. and/or how do I fix the settings so I won't get this message.

My Windows live mail automatically goes to Working Offline.  I get an error message, "host "stmp comcast.net" could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.

How can I export Windows live emails and import them to Microsoft Outlook 2013 on a new Notebook?

My existing notebook has Windows Live mail and I have just purchased a new notebook and would like to transfer all my existing emails from Windows Live on my old notebook to Microsoft Outlook 2013 on my new notebook.  The only export options available in Windows Live are Microsoft Exchange or Windows Live Mail (.eml).  I can export the emails out to a folder and transfer the emails to a folder on the new notebook, but Microsoft Outlook does not recognize them and I cannot import them.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated
