Can’t receive or send mail. Running Window 7, Live Mail. Error 0x800CCC0D

My Windows live mail automatically goes to Working Offline.  I get an error message, "host "stmp comcast.net" could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.

I can no longer get online with Windows Live Mail.  A windows keeps popping up and asks if I want to go online and when I click "Yes", it goes away & then immediately pops up again with the same message.  I get Error 0x800CCC0D.  I am using Windows 7 and recently set up a gmail account and shortly thereafter my trouble started so I'm sure I did something wrong in setting it up and now I don't know how to fix it.  I contacted my ISP but they couldn't help me with it.  Also, I recently changed from IE to Chrome but my email was still working until I set up the gmail account.

I'm still getting my emails but they are going into my gmail account.  Could someone please help me.  Thanks.  wannierob
