I keep getting sync issues but everything seems to sync ok.
I am having problems with syncing my Hotmail account via the native email app on my nexus 4.  It was working great since I got the phone in July but then a few weeks ago it stopped syncing.  I have deleted and re-added the account and done restarts after each but it won't sync.  It says "waiting for sync" and just keeps going and going,  never actually syncing.  I've looked online for many different options and none have worked.

All week, I've been reading numerous posts from people who all have the same 8.1 SkyDrive sync issues. They go back a month and a half. Numerous techs are trying different solutions. Most or all of them don't work. I've spent at least 25 hours trying to get my files synced or at least get my un-synced files off this test machine. Techs keep asking sufferers for logs and then PMing a solution. That doesn't seem to work most of the time either.


Please search "8.1 SkyDrive Sync", read everything I've read, look a this holistically, and post a definitive solution - even if the definitive solution is to reload Windows or wait for October 18th. Thank you. Please don't reply with questions about my specific problem. I have another post where I'm doing that.

Still having sync issues with outlook on iphone along with everyone else!  Been checking status live updates and despite problem being classed as resolved- it clearly hasn't! 
I've tried everything the moderators have suggested and still-----nothing!
When is this going to get fixed!!???
Beyond frustrated!

  I am not able to sync Outlook mail and folder files to my Windows 8 Mail app.  Everything was working properly up until yesterday when Outlook was having sync issues system wide.  Now that the issue is supposedly resolved, I am still unable to sync in Windows 8 mail.  I get an error message that my account is not available.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the mail app but continue to have the problem.  I called Microsoft Help but they were useless, blaming the computer manufacturer.  I did not have this issue until the Outlook sync issue of yesterday.

  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  This is very frustrating.

Hi I have just brought a HTC 8X & iam having sync issues. Now what i did was I have linked my google mail ac to windows live ac & all the contact are visible on the web page of the windows live mail on my pc but the contact are not being synced to my mobile moreover Iam even not able to sync my contact directly to my mobile as the active sync services by google have been taken out it have been a big time issue to me as I have been running the mobile without contacts from 5 days now & I have tried everything I count have found on the net so please give me a possible solution to this ASAP.

I have been experiencing an issue for the past few months where Outlook.com on the web and email through the native app on iPhone are out of sync.  I have emails that have been read on Outlook.com but appears not read on my iPhone 5 device.  This is especially true if I do a mass "mark read" when viewing it on Outlook.com on my computer.  However, if I read an email one at a time, it appears to sync just fine.

 

I have also performed a reconfig by deleting the account off the iPhone and readding it and the emails sycn up fine initially but will behave the same once I perform a mass "mark read" in Outlook.com on my computer.

 

I have seen other posts with sync issues where Microsoft support has done something to the account to resolve it.  Can I get help with mine?

I Have an @hotmail.co.uk account which I have switched to Outlook.com

The Email and Calendar are syncing correctly, however I have a strange problem with the contacts.

I have setup sync with 4 Devices:

2x EAS (iPod and Android Phone) both are working correctly

2x WLM (Windows 7 & Windows 8) both are missing 22 contacts

The Web interface is also correct.

 

So why are the 2 WLM installs not able to sync my full contact list? They both show the same 134 contacts, whereas iOS, Android and Web all show 156. This to me would imply some server contact sync issue.

 

Additional info:

I have tried reinstalling WLM, deleting the cached contacts folder, signing in/ out etc. No change.

I have had contact sync issues before; this was (eventually) resolved by someone resetting the server in some way. Maybe some could do this again?
