Today, I discovered that my hotmail keeps receiving hundreds of spam. I immediately login and change my password. But the situation hasn't change. I still receive those spam.
Can someone help?

Thank you
Hello,

I very recently set up new Outlook accounts using my domain over at domains.live.com. Everything seems to work perfectly minus the fact I cannot receive mail. No problems with sending email from the account. I have tried several steps and looked into things such as SPAM, Junk, mail redirection, forwarding, rules etc but there seem to be no solutions via these options.

Please advise what to do next. Really keen to get emails working in the next 24 hours - I fly overseas and hope to give out the odd business card here and there. However, I don't want miss any emails due to my accounts not being able to receive mail.

This is really urgent and any help would be really appreciated!

Thanks very much,

Mitch
Hi everyone,

I just got an email, seemingly from Outlook saying 'click here' or my account will be closed. Most of the content was blocked so I assume it's spam but also don't want my account to be closed. Anyone have the same email? Is it spam?
The Delete button and the Junk button both get rid of messages you don't want. But the Junk button also keeps a sender out of your inbox (and helps us improve our junk filtering, too)....so says the HELP when you cant get rid of tons of spam that Outlook generates as hundreds if not thousands of complaints have registered in various |MS support forums What a load of bulls ****... Outlook is the worst piece of software Microsoft has forced on unsuspecting users ...and still has the temerity to try and pass it off as flawless. Do not believe any of their supposed support for this rubbish spam generator...hotmail was at least manageable but this Outlook garbage is is impossible to manage and even their supposed expert support staff cant provide answers or solutions as to why it generates so much unfilterable spam...which has been complained about for over 10 months and counting!! Perhaps the same morons who created the Obamacare website have their fingerprints all over the migration to Outlook....its sucks and Steve Ballmer and co should resign over the ongoing dissatisfaction and seeming inability to either respond to the concerns or more likely they are clueless on how to fix glitches in a piece of **** software...nor dont give a monkeys..and thats not nusuall with MS these days is it? No doubt this complaint will generate the same old routine of change your filters etc etc....;one of which solve the problem..! I for one have given up and changed to gmail and advise others to do the same. MS is not willing or capable to acknowledge its flaws or offer simple solutions and no longer seem willing to listen to valid customer concerns. Goodbye and thx for the wated time and grief!!!!! A FORMER ADVOCATE OF HOTMAIL WHO HAS BEEN SCREWED!

Thanks,
For the last week I have been getting spam/junk mail in my inbox. When viewing the 'email source' my own email address in in the 'from' section. I can't add the spam to blocked sender because the spam/junk email address is different everytime. I've tried the creating a new rule with "if sender's email address does not contain an @" but this isn't working. Can anyone help?
My old email address started sending out spam about a week ago. I went on the forums and did all they said, scanned and fixed vulnerabilities on my computer, and changed my password to a really complicated one. In the next few days it still sent out spam emails to my contacts, I wouldn't have known at all if my friends hadn't told me because there was nothing in my sent box.

I deactivates the account and deleted it from all devices. Anyway, I found out the next day that it was still sending out these emails and I dont know what to do to fix it. I have closed the account so it should have been shut down.

Can anyone help? I don't want this account out there and I also want it to stop being used to send spam links
I've looked through the forum and know that it's pretty common for people to get spam mails from "themselves". However what's different for my case is that I seemed to be spamming myself but I do not get the emails. This means that they don't show up in my inbox at all but they show up in my sent mails. It's very strange that I seemed to be spamming myself every few minutes like a spam bot but they don't appear in my inbox. And what is weirder is that the "spam mails" are actually an actual reply that I have sent to a real and legit ebay seller. I had a question regarding the item I have purchased on ebay so I've been communicating with the ebay seller. The spams seemed to be one of the replies I have sent. And unless my memory failed me, I am pretty sure I have replied directly from ebay instead of from my outlook so I have no idea how outlook have retrieved that reply and using it to spam myself. I am very frustrated as I've been using the email for years now and have a lot of important emails and I don't want anything to mess it up.

ps. I've tried changing a very strong password but it doesn't change anything.
Hi there.

A colleague of mine has all her emails go to spam when emailing a hotmail address. I've tested it with several friends accounts and it always goes straight to spam, unless they say it's safe and I resend it. I've tested sending from her computer, and from a computer in another office, and via webmail.
The thing is it's strange that it only affects her. I would assume if MS had decided my company was sending out spam we all would have problems emailing people at hotmail/outlook, but it's just her.

Is there any reason why all her emails, and only her emails, go to spam, and anything I can do to undo that?

Many thanks,
Phil
