I have a Nokia Lumia 505 and recently I synced it with my Live account, which holds my Skydrive files. Regarding my pictures I have in my phone, the folders I have in Skydrive -that have images- appear to be synced, but when I open one of them, they all appear in black. I try to open any of them and it says: "Image can't be obtained. May be a connection problem (Try again later). Is the image from another person? May be a problem with its privacy settings".

DID try again later, but it didn't work out either. I want to know how can I edit this permission and authorization.

My SkyDrive is stuck.  I copied about 800 files to my SkyDrive folder.  The sync started ok and I let it run all night, but was not even one-half done.  I have tried reinstalling SkyDrive (now I have multiple SkyDrive program install folders), tired unlinking, and nothing seems to work.  I either get the an endless status of "Processing changes" or "Downloading 2.8 MB of 2.1 GB, 679 files remaining."

I am not sure what else to try?  There are 679 files in various directories that have the blue unsync tag--really too many to try and move out of the sync queue.  I did try to upload several of those files with the web interface--they did upload successfully, but were not downloaded to the local SkyDrive folder.

When I try to uninstall SkyDrive from the control panel, I get a warning message that SkyDrive has already been uninstalled and do I want to remove it from the list--so not sure I am getting a complete uninstall.

The files are all iPhone JPM or MOV files.

Thanks for any help.

I've been getting an error message when I try to sign in to Skydrive, telling me to "change your browser setting to work online and try again".  As far as I'm concerned, my browser (either Chrome or IE) is online and connected to the internet.  So what's the problem?
I work with the Skydrive app on two MacBooks. One works as it should. The other uploads files but deletes them immediately after upload.

I can find them in the skydrive trash.

Files and folders previously uploaded via the first MacBook are deleted as soon as the second MacBook goes online.

Putting files via browser works for both machines. Both machines sync time and location via internet. The personal settings on my Microsoft account are set correctly to Brazil, however I did not select a timezone.

Skydrive makes a lot of sense to me as long as it does not delete files I want to share!!

How can I put this second machine back to normal??

Upon starting my computer, SkyDrive uses a LOT of data.

This typically goes on from anywhere between 3-5 minutes.

        Yesterday:
(each vertical line represents 1 minute. horizontal line is graph max value with label on the left.)

        Today:
(graph max value was about 850 KBps)

But when this starts and during this entire time, SkyDrive says everything is up to date.

This happens regardless of whether or not there is any new content. All I've got to do is Exit SkyDrive and start it up again, and it will do the same thing: SkyDrive is up to date .. but it needs to download a bunch of data.

What's going on here?
Hello.  I will be interviewing about 1000 people and would like to know if the SkyDrive survey form can support this number of applicants.  There will be 10 questions in it.
Also, I have seen users complain about the program freezing at certain points.  Would it be useful to break up the 1000 applicants into say 4 chunks of 250 persons and then merge their answers in a new excel?
I am getting this error message on my Skydrive. I checked the status of all services and everything is showing normal. I have tried to sync from multiple OSs and browsers (Mac/Safari/Chrome, Win7/IE9, WinPhone8, iPad/Safari) and none of the devices are syncing.

I have files parked on all my devices and can't share them because of this issue. This is killing my productivity as I have resorted to moving files via email.

All the support entries I have checked so far had to involve someone from support take a look at the affected person's account. Can someone from support please take a look at my account?

Thanks!
I have about 30GB of documents and pictures to upload to SkyDrive, but the tray icon is telling me that it is full. Along with the 7GB that I received free when opening my account, I purchased another 100GB of storage, of which 101GB is available. I need to be able to upload all my files and access them from my phone and laptop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SkyDrive twice already, but the error message keeps appearing. My secretary is able to access and upload to SkyDrive from her computer with no problems.

Photos from my Windows Phone 8 include GPS info when uploaded to SkyDrive. I would like to remove it from some. Is there a way to do that? I can't edit the exif data through windows explorer in Windows 8 because of security restrictions and I see no options in SkyDrive around this.

Even public links include the GPS info in their exif data despite not showing the bing maps link. For example, view the original of this photo:

https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=43496171A70466B4!20000&authkey=!ALjbqBo-lxWB-_A

If you download that file and view the properties in windows explorer, you can see that the lat and lon are still included as shown here:
