My SkyDrive won't start from the main menu and no way to check files from configuration--SkyDrive, even though SkyDrive--Space indicated the space available. Try to uninstall and reinstall from the Store but no use.


Also tried to repair using the Update & Recover option but was prompted to reinstall using the Windows 8 CD which I have cancelled. Is there any way out instead of reinstall the whole Windows 8? Thanks for any help or suggestion available.

My MacBook Air had a HW crash and was off duty for several weeks.
Now I'm reinstalling all software and after installation SkyDrive seems empty.
I know this sounds like a weird question, but is there a way to check if any file has been deleted from the logs?
I have 2 other cloud storage solutions installed and they are both almost full. I can't remember, but it seems weird that I kept SkyDrive totally empty.

I would really appreciate any help you could give me.

Hi,

One of my Skydrive folders is missing -- both on your website and on my second computer. I can navigate to it in Skydrive on my primary computer, but it is nowhere to be found on your website or on my backup computer. 

Please help me resolve this.

I am trying to install Skydrive desktop on my PC.  It downloads and installs but when I click "Get Started" I get the error message "There was a problem connecting to Skydrive. Please check your internet connection and try again."  But my internet connection is fine and I can't figure out how to resolve this issue. 

 

Here are my details:

 

  • The exact error message: There was a problem connecting to Skydrive. Please check your internet connection and try again.
  • The operating system version - Windows 7
  • The CPU or processor - Intel Core 2 CPU Q8300 @ 2.5GH
  • The amount of system memory (RAM) - 4.0 GB
  • The hard disk size and model - Western Digital 640 GB WD6400aaks-22a7b2
  • The version of software or model of hardware that you’re using and that may be related to the problem - ???
  • The version of virus scanner or malware scanner that you’re using - Norton Internet Security
  • The browser: IE10

    Have successfully used SkyDrive to store move around 7Gb of My Documents folders from my PC to my small HP laptop both Windows 7. The laptop SkyDrive directory is reversed: Z at the top, A at the bottom. The PC is unaffected, A-Z as always. Have explored folder options in Control Panel, Windows Help and elsewhere online. Stuck. Many of my folders have prefixes to set them accessibly  at the "A" end. Help please. Thank you, routabout

     

    Has anyone had any luck with finding out usage statistics for SkyDrive accounts under a registered live@edu domain? All I want to know is how many people are currently using SkyDrive under my registered domain, so I can know how many people need to be notified for the switch to Office365.

    I thought that would be a simple question to answer but I have not had any luck with customer support.
    I'm not able to download any files from Skydrive. I've tried it through Chrome (Mac and Windows), Internet Exploerer, and through my Android tablet and phone. It just shows a loading sign on the PC, then nothing happens. The Android version tells me to check my Wifi connection (which is working fine, and it's the home wifi that I've used with Skydrive before)

    Skydrive Windows is just stuck on "Processing files", doesn't sync them, and Skydrive Mac just shows a "Loading" sign in the drop-down menu when i click on the Skydrive icon in the menu

    All this is happening just when i so badly need to finish something up for tomorrow :@ :@
    Skydrive stopped auto uploading on my Lumia 928 on August 10 and I  have since been unable to  manual upload to Skydrive?  I already deleted and reinstalled skydrive app. I have plenty of space left on my skydrive account.If I do a factory reset  will that not wipe out all personal data including the photos ?

    How can I find out how many live mail accounts I have?
    Skydrive stopped auto uploading on my Lumia 928 on August 10 and I  have since been unable to  manual upload to Skydrive?  I already deleted and reinstalled skydrive app. I have plenty of space left on my skydrive account.If I do a factory reset  will that not wipe out all personal data including the photos ?
