Just installed Office for Mac H&B 2011 . Outlook does not allow me to add an email account. It keeps frozen. I have downloaded 14.1.0 update this has not resolved the issue. I am able to set up an Exchange account but when I try to use a email account
it freezes and the red/green bullet lights go out leaving the minimise button. I am running Apple Mail on my mac with no problem

How do I get my contacts back? I switched over to Outlook this past weekend and lost my contacts. I have been a hotmail user since hotmail was launched. This is very disheartening. I do like the new format, but without my contacts the sevice is useless.

I would like to find out whether it is technically possible to synchronize contacts and calendar in Outlook 2011 for MAC with applications calendar and contacts - using iCloud in the Mac. When the synchronization settings for the Outlook Calendar and Contacts
to select only - On My Computer.

How can I copy appointments contacts within the same Outlook account - to avoid re-entering same information for new meetings and contacts?
I have been an Office for Mac early adopters (from the initial release) but that doesn't ease the incredible frustration that Outlook for Mac seems to have been at pains to lose the most obvious menu options from Outlook for Windows and Web Access.
I want to be able to copy a record, edit just one or two fields and have created a completely new record (eg a string of meetings that doesn't neatly recur; or a team of people from the same organisation).
Any assistance gratefully appreciated.

Is it possible to Cleanup Conversations in the same way as is available in the PC version of Outlook ? That is to delete messages that are fully incorporated inside other messages in a string of emails ?
