ERROR: 80041003 - unable to connect with Windows Live Calendar and Error syncing folder hierarchy. Any suggestions?
My most recent problem this AM is that Outlook gives me an error messages that say:
Outlook has been the most troublesome program I've encounterd, possibly ever! Repeated outages and Fonts that are corrupted because Microsoft didn't code the program to maintain customer settings are my major issues. This has become a major problem!
Without access to email I can't do my job and Microsoft is going to cost people money!
Could someone please advise if Outlook is down, or if maintenance is being done on my account? I checked the status 2 different ways, and only saw that there were issues with mobile issues. I have been trying to access e-mails from my PC for the last 30 minutes to no avail.
Please don't ask me to optimize my browser or act like it's an issue with my computer. This happens every 3 or 4 months, usually when Outlook is being upgraded, or maintenance is being performed, and no one tells users in advance! It is beyond frustrating. Fortunately, I have a gmail account that I am using more frequently (and that I NEVER have this problem with), but I still need to access hotmail e-mail messages.
Real information and a solution to the problem woudl be greatly appreciated.
does outlook delete messages from your folders? i know for a fact that i had a lot more messages in a particular folder than i do now. i did not delete them. did outlook? i mean i know this is a terrible email program. but would they stoop that low?
Just read that the week long problem of not being able to access outlook has been solved. it has not, at least for my account. I still get the message 'problem signing in'., status for outlook says working normally, no it is not

As several community members have indicated, the current Outlook issues are not limited to mobile devices. For many, Outlook is also not syncing with the Mail app on PCs. It is very frustrating when the Outlook team seems either unwilling or unable to acknowledge the depth of the problem and then insist that everything is fixed.
Earlier this week my email quit syncing to both Outlook 365 and Windows Phone 8. I can still retrieve email at Outlook.com, but for some reason Outlook 365 and Windows Phone 8 never sync and there are no errors. Looking around it looks like there are
many running into this issue both in this forum as well as the Outlook forum.

As requested.
I uploaded Outlook error message snippit and PC Windows Live snippit of Yahoo mailbox showing received e-mail as of today.
This verifies that I have a Plus account but the POP3 connection does not work from Outlook.com,
It does not matter which IP is use.(as suggested in one reply.
I tried from my office same problem. Home machine Win7 Office WinXP.
BTW my provider is Verizon and i works from their site and Yahoo response to to ask Microsoft... so you see the delema.
