Months ago I received a letter from Microsoft telling me to switch from Live to  Outlook for my e-mail as it was dropping the Live source in the near future.  So I set up an Outlook.com account.  So now I get each e-mail twice, both sources showing on my Microsoft mail page.  How can I stop Live e-mail  also sending me Outlook messages, and vice versa?   I have given everyone my Outlook address and so I would like to drop Live.  Or should I just leave everything alone?

Some calendar appointments (those received from a POP email address different from my live.com account) register correctly in Outlook 2013 (on Windows 8.1 Pro) but do not sync to my Outlook.com Calendar. Calendar entries made manually on Outlook 2013 calendar sync correctly, as do any accepted meeting requests received directly to my live.com email account (although meeting requests forwarded to my live.com address from my other account do not sync when Accepted but do register correctly on my local Outlook 2013 calendar).

My wife has the same issue with the same configuration on a different machine so the issue is not account related, nor is it related to a mailbox corruption.

Searching online shows others reporting the same issue (for some months now) but I have not found a solution. Please can you point me to a solution to this serious problem.

Please let us know when the 'fix' or upgrade will be ready to overcome the worldwide problem of repeated account connection errors in Outlook which began the moment we upgraded to OSX Mavericks on our iMac and Macbook Pro.  Thank you.

I am using on line outlook to create a database useable by several workers.

When using the on line version, why does outlook remove a contact from a group when I edit the same contact?

I am using IE 11 and Win 8.1 all up to date.  Tried disabling cache / database in browser.  No help there.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I have deleted a POP email profile from MAC Outlook 2011 on which I also have Exchange email profiles which I am currently using.  However, I would like to recover the Notes from the POP email profile.  I can restore the Notes folder from my Time Machine backup but can't figure out how to get the Notes back into Outlook since I have deleted the profile they were associated with.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ray
Both my wife and I have Outlook.com accounts that receive mail that is automatically forwarded from another mailbox. We use differenet email providers but both of us find that there are some mails, maybe 1 in 100,  that simply do not arrive in Outlook.com. I have tested this by setting forwarders to both Outlook and a Gmail address and by checking the mails have arrived on the webmail of the email providers. Mails arrive OK at the provider, get forwarded OK to Gmail, can be accessed by Outlook on the desktop using POP direct to the provider, but do not arrive in the Outlook.com mailbox.
They are emphatically not in junk mail, there are no blocked senders, and there are no rules that are diverting them. They just do not arrive. I have one contact whose mails seem to repeatedly go missing but when I asked him to do a test mail sent to both my mail and my wife's - it arrived in my wife's Outlook.com but not mine! Its all very strange and a bit disturbing.
It seems to me that others complain of this problem. Is it being investigated?

Ian
