Has Microsoft or, perhaps more appropriately, "will" Microsoft provide support for OWA Exchange sync to Outlook.com? I use only Microsoft services for my back end (Outlook, Alias, SkyDrive, and soon to be Office365), though I still enjoy my Mac desktop. What I find annoying is the reluctance or unwillingness to open up access so that  Mac Mail/Contacts/Calendar, can sync with Outlook.com without some exotic type of method.

Does anyone know if/when/will this be provided, or perhaps an easier method? At this point, I may end up using Gmail as a proxy for their Card/CalDav support, and sync back into Outlook.com, thereby gaining access for Mac's desktop applications.

Any thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated :)

I have an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) synced with my Hotmail account.  Most of my contact information is saved in my Hotmail account, and all this information syncs with the contacts on my phone.  Yesterday when the problems started with the various Microsoft services I noticed that none of this contact information was available on my phone anymore and that the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync icons next to each synced contact had disappeared.  Today all the information has returned to my phone, so I assume Microsoft has made progress in fixing the problem.  But I was very surprised that when there was a problem with a cloud service from Microsoft, it apparently means all the synced contact information just disappears from my phone!  I understand that the actual synchronization process may not work while the could service is down, but I don't understand why the information would be gone from my phone.  Shouldn't all this contact information be saved locally on my phone so that I can always access it even when outlook.com and related services aren't functioning properly?

I also use the Windows Live Mail desktop program, which also has contact information synced with my Hotmail account.  Despite the problems with the Microsoft services, all my contact information remained on my computer, as expected.  So it was only on my phone where all the information disappeared.  So I don't know if this is an Android problem or a Microsoft problem or some combination.

How can I make sure that all my contact information stays on my phone, even when there is a problem with Microsoft's cloud services, but that the contact information will also continue to sync with my Hotmail account when the cloud services are working properly?
I have tried online and by fax, as instructed in other Microsoft Community posts, to complete Windows Live Age Verification in order to grant Parental Authorization to my son for his use of all Microsoft services on his new laptop.  I received error messages in my attempts online and read the posts that there is no fix for the issue.  I then sent a fax as instructed, got confirmation it went through, but received no response.  Please help me as soon as possible.  My son is most excited to begin full use of his computer.

Many thanks.

Whenever I try to do this I get the following answer:

You recently updated your security info

We have a waiting period for the updates to take effect. On 23/8/2013, we'll delete your old security info:

(gives me an alternative email address I never use)

Once this has been deleted, you'll be able to verify your account with info you have access to. If you didn't make the updates, or if you still have access to the above info, cancel the updates.

Therefore that means that I have to wait a month for something or other but in a couple of days time my subscription will run out and I am not able to put my new Visa details in the system. There is no one human I can call or email and so I am stuck and I will lose all my emails.  I have had a Hotmail account for approx 10 years and I have a lot of stuff on this account that I don't want to lose. Please could someone advise me how I can urgently edit my bank details and overcome this problem (without too much technical jargon) and in a way that works? Thanks, Patricia

Currently, my company uses Google Apps for e-mail.  I want to migrate us to Microsoft services via domains.live.com.  Unfortunately, we used SkyDrive in the past and have two accounts (*** Email address is removed for privacy *** and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***) set up already as live accounts.  When I set up our domain (company.com) via domains.live.com will I be able to create these users since they exist as already established live accounts?

Thanks.

Microsoft Services for October 19th
What changes will be made as far as Hotmail with the new Microsoft Services for October 19th?
I do not know if we will loose everything in our various folders or not.
Is there a way to save the emails in some form onto our hard drive other than printing them all out?
Please Help!
