I am trying to setup a Microsoft services account however when I enter my domain I get the following error.

This domain name can't be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language

Please help, I am a small business startup, I have just purchased the domain imafinancials.co.uk

Hello.

I wans't sure if i should post this as a new question or respond to an older post.
I have two email adresses, one is from my old business and has been used for Microsoft services such as Xbox Live, Microsoft Store etc. But i do not recive mail with it. The other is an @outlook.com adress that i do use for mail. Since my business is no longer in operation and since i have gotten a Windows Phone i find it even harder to juggle the two accounts since i have my purchases on one account and mail on the other, i would like to merge the two if possible, getting rid of my old business account and keeping my new @outlook.com adress and have all my purchases, xbox live service, skydrive, etc on just one account.

Hi,

When opening the calendar on outlook.com with IE11 I get a page with the following message:

Microsoft services are designed for you, but maybe not for your browser
Some features might not work correctly with the version of the web browser you’re currently using.

To get the most out of Microsoft services, we recommend that you take a few minutes to upgrade to the current version of one of these browsers:

Another issue with IE11 is that the layout of menu bar at the top is broken for mail and people.

The first issue is also described in the following thread: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/mail-calendar/cannot-display-oulookcom-calendar-using-ie-11/792dfa0a-98d4-45c3-8faa-7560204e5bae?tab=question&status=AllReplies.

In that thread I indicated that I have the same problem as the thread starter and Eugene R (Microsoft Forum Moderator) opened a private message section where I added screenshots of the issues. Latest advice from Eugene was to create a new thread for this, so here I am...

Thanks for looking into this!

Kind regards,

T

I have IE V.11, which is the absolute latest. Calendar will display properly if I log in to Firefox and load my Outllok.com in that browser, but why would I use Firefox to see a Microsoft product???? Anyone else have or maybe solve this problem????

I am currently using Windows Phone and like the integration with my PC of email, calendars and contacts. I'm considering moving to an iPhone and was wondering if iOS lets you have a similar arrangement? Can it be baked into the OS or do I have to work through separate apps/online?
