Windows Live Mail will not recognise that I am on line.  I get a message box that states that I am off line and do I want to go online.  When I click the yes box, nothing happens.  When I click the go online box at the top nothing happens.  When I click the send/receive mail box, a message box comes up and states that the task was cancelled.  The error box is blank.  When checking  options <connections it states that I am connected.  I have uninstalled the program and downloaded a new one from Microsoft but have the same problem with the new one.

Original title: Live Mail Problem

Windows Live Mail will not recognise that I am on line.  I get a message box that states that I am off line and do I want to go online.  When I click the yes box, nothing happens.  When I click the go online box at the top nothing happens.  When I click the send/receive mail box, a message box comes up and states that the task was cancelled.  The error box is blank.  When checking  options <connections it states that I am connected.  I have uninstalled the program and downloaded a new one from Microsoft but have the same problem with the new one.

Hi - On startup on Windows 7 I keep getting a message box advising that Skydrive needs Updating. On clicking 'yes' it opens a box to download an exe file from wl.dlservice.microsoft.com it also opens a blank browser window at the same time. On downloading the file it seems to want to reinstall skydrive. I did not continue the installation. Does anyone know if this is a valid source and program to update skydrive ? It just seemed suspicious.
Thanks for any advice.
I have an Excel 2010 workbook stored on my SkyDrive.  when I selected to open, it opens in the Excel web app.  I then click on the open in Excel button expecting it to open using my full version of Excel 2010.  first I received a message indicating there may be files that can harm my computer and if I feel their suspicious do not open the file etc. etc.  I click on the okay button and then receive another message box pertaining to Internet explorer security.  this MessageBox asks for permission to run ' Microsoft open XML converter' program on my system. I clicked on the allow button and aNother message box shows up indicating a file converter process is occurring.   shortly thereafter a message box appears telling me the converter failed to save the file with an okay button that must be pressed to continue.
this happens with Excel 2010 files that are either shared with me by other users or that I have saved from my own system to my SkyDrive and try to access via the web.  if I access the file from my own SkyDrive directly, on my own laptop, there is no problem in the file opens just fine.
I can download the file and work with it and then upload it, but I would prefer not to go through this process each and every time I want to work with the file, especially those that are shared with me. What is the solution? Do I need a different XML converter?  Using Windows Vista, Office 2010.  Thank you for your assistance.

I accidentally emptied inbox instead of junk box and need some of those messages.  I already recovered deleted messages, but these did not go to deleted message box.  It was just done today.  Please help.  My setting are to save it to the server so they may be somewhere on here - how do I find them?

I can open trush box or unsendeing message box and read.  but I can't open inbox so I can't read any new e-mail. HELP ME!!! I need to read some mails.

Dec 24th: sending a few short holiday messages. Noticed outbox not sending emails. Rebooted laptop. Uploading Windows Lived, a message box popped up saying unusual activity on my account. Wanted me to check OK to open box. Another box popped up asking me to allow Microsoft to make changes to my computer. Also had to sign back in (1) into Microsoft (2) into Hotmail (3) into Windows Live (4) into Windows Live Messenger. Received a new PW by text on my cell. Started over signing in beginning this time with Hotmail, then on and on. 68 new emails in my inbox...  replies to inquiries on accounts, messages to and from people I do not know. Sent all msgs to delete file, but still on windows live. Help. What happened? Hiow do I keep it from happening again?
When I have logged on to Windows Live Messenger, a message box (Name: ADSAsClient31CA....htm / Type: HTML Document / From: rad.ms.com) keeps popping up whenever I try to create a chat with people online.
This message box will only go off when I close Windows Live Messenger.
    How to solve this problem?
