not responding error when opening mail

so hen I open my windows mail, it goes not responding, sometimes page blanks out,then it will come back,but when looking at mail, often goes back to not responding. Takes ages for me to get through my mail, often give up,should I re install windowslive mail?.

 

I am a basic user,and in my elder years, so please simplicity is what is reguired. many thanks

Deleted Items folder not emptying on exit

I have my deleted mail settings set to permanently erase deleted mail that's > 1 week old when outlook closes.

But when I close Outlook, it isn't permanently erased.

Any ideas?

Why is Outlook rebuilding the database frequently? And then deleting email in folders?

This is a new Mac and a new install of Office 2011 for Mac.  It is sending and receiving mail in 2 accounts.  1 account is a msn.com and the other a me.com account.
 The really SCARY THING IS IT IS ALSO DELETING MY EMAIL IN FOLDERS.  What am I doing wrong?  Can antyone help me straighten this out? I really need those emails back.  I am backing up to Time Machine.

Even though I have 2 active email accounts in Outlook for Mac and they both receive and send mail, I still get this little pop out window telling me I have this error code 3170.  What did I do wrong if I am still getting my mail?

can"t access email from time to time

It has been three days since I started to have problems on and off accessing my email.  I check out the status of hotmail and it says it's running normally but when I ccheck e mail I get the message to refresh or sorry can not access e mail.

 

Please look into this problems for it's bothersome and going on for 3 days now.

how do I import messages from outlook express saved as a .wab file? followed the help menu and the menu they instruct you to use is not there!!

I want to import messages from a .wab file into Windows Live mail.  Every thing I have read says I should be able to do this.  But cannot find the option anywhere

Request to verify account because content is exceeded

I received a notice from the Hotmail Live Team asking me to verify my account because it has exceeded its limit or my account will be suspended in 24 hours. The thing is it was in my junk folder. Wouldn't Hotmail recognize its own mail? Is this legit? A link is supplied to repy to. Thanks, Maureen
