Greetings all,

I am using Windows Live Mail with Win 7 and have a question. Over the last couple of days, I have been inundated with thousands of emails, mostly return to sender, failed delivery, etc.. I understand that someone in Estonia picked my email address to inflict this on me and my mail provider, resulting in my mail provider getting put on several blacklists.  But aside from all that, I have a question about blocked domains. Most of the time, to block a domain, I will right click on the email in question, go to junk email, and click on add senders domain to block sender list. In my haste to block as many senders that I can, I might have blocked some domains that I maybe I shouldn't have.. yahoo..sbc...rr..Hotmail,gmail. , etc. How can I reverse this block, and is there a list of blocked domains somewhere in my computer that I could possibly edit?   I guess I could monitor my emails very closely, and if/when I get an email from the domain that I blocked, I could just click the other option, add senders domain to safe sender list. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi everybody

I have problem in our mail service it is when i send any email from any account in our domain to any person .
my email address appear like that

From: hotmail_------------*** Email address is removed for privacy *** on behalf of it h-----s (it@-------.com)
Sent: Friday, October 25, 2013 2:36:27 PM
To: it --------(it@------.com

and this is for all accounts on this domain
but i find the reason

in domain setting in domains.live.com
I found under domain setting our service is active and under Edit mail setting

You can enable mail service for your domain. Please select the mail provider from the choices below.
No mail
Outlook.com

and No mail is selected and i test that when i change to Outlook.com choice the problem is resolver but i found this important notification

This will permanently delete the existing mailboxes of all users in your domain. All users will be able to continue to use their Microsoft accounts, but will permanently lose their communications data (mail, offline messages).

but i test this on domain have not any important inbox and no thing happen i mean all inbox's is still as it is.

I need assistant if this notification can be happen or not i test that but i need confirmation about that.

I WAIT REPLAY

I have Windows 8.1 with Internet Explorer 11. I use Hotmail as my mail provider and have suddenly started to get mail alerts on the top right hand of my screen.

The advice on-line is to select File/Options etc...........or Tools/Options etc

This doesn't work in my case, when I select Tools I only get 'More Settings', 'Help' or 'Feedback'.

How do I get rid of these alerts?

Thanks

Hi

We are a mail provider and were wondering if anyone knows if there is a way of requesting that the rate limits can be upped to allow our users to send to Hotmail.

The error that some of our users are getting is:

"We have limits for how many messages can be sent per hour and per day."

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Cheers

Hi Diane... There must be something more : I made a test from my online mail provider (@free.fr) versus my company mail server (@cyclo-pump.com) with this online tool :

http://www.mail-tester.com

Free.fr get a 5/10 legally note for being a spammer mail box (and that's true because this email address is blacklisted three times)

otherwise Cyclo-pump.com, my company mailer, is totally clean : get a 7/10 note and has never been blacklisted anywhere.

Guess what !? Free.fr can send mail easily to my outlook.com mailbox otherwise Cyclo-pump.com is dropped in the Spam folder...!!!

According to http://www.mail-tester.com , the two domains Free.fr and Cyclo-pump.com have the same features of mailer guaranty (Authentication, encryption, etc...)

Who can tell me what I must do for Cyclo-pump.com mails to be received as Not Spam by outlook.com , please ??
as above is hotmail being phased out  26/10 ....if yes... what is an alternative e mail provider ...how do I sign up
