PLEASE HELP MY HOTMAIL ACCOUNT HAS BEEN COMPROMISED. 2 days ago I attempted to login to my hotmail via my laptop utilizing wifi. I've tried several time to verify my account online to no avail. I called a support number I located on google and they wanted to download software and charge me $450 (HA). Hotmail doesn't work on my laptop but works on PCs and my phone. This must be a problem with my laptop, which belongs to work, but the tech guys in work can't solve it and the tech guys in my local computer shop can't solve it either. Does anyone know

I had many emails in folders in Windows 7. Now those emails do not exist in Windows 8.
When I use the log-in for Hotmail on my desktop (WinXP), my wife's laptop (Vista) and my work desktop (Apple), my e-mail address appears when I type the first character. When using my new laptop (Win7), I must type the entire address every time. Why?
What do I need to do to use this convenience?

I´ve got following error:

The Live Mail software is not able to receive or send any e-mails.
Most frankly - it appears on my laptop (Win 7) only. My another computers at home //PC (Win 7) and iPad// are working without any problems with that e-mail account (PC via the same Live Mail software like on the laptop). Futheron I can send e-mail via browser on my laptopt without any issues.
Remark: Laptop installed Win 7 64 bit, the PC with Win 7 32bit system intalled.
