My phone is only 6 months old but I have had no problem receiving my Hotmail.com email until a few weeks ago.  It suddenly stopped. I have deleted it and re-added it and spent the past 48 hours on the phone to my supplier (Tmobile) who have been fantastic and talked me through every possible option.  There is nothing wrong with the hardware as I have access to the Internet and there is no problem with the software as we were able to divert my husband's email (live.com) to this phone so we know it is working.  The problem is Hotmail.com being received on the HTC Desire.  I can see that other people are in a similar position and have this problem also.

No problem with receiving email on my home computer or ipad.  Just my phone.

 

Can you please help me resolve this?

 

Phone is HTC Desire Gingerbread Version 3 supplied by TMobile .

I have IMEA number if that would help and will give my email address to you as long as it is blocked online.

New phone 3 days old.  HTC Desire X, HTC Sense version 4+ Android Version 4.1.1  UK user with Talk Talk

 

Outlook works with no problems on WIFI but will not do anything on mobile network and will not sync even if I refresh manually.  It shows the last connected time.  I can eventually get it to show a 'connection error' when I want to view a message with lots of data.  I have checked all the settings and quiet time etc to no avail.

 

Gmail works with no problems send and receive emails no problems with gmail, I can search the internet with no problems and I can download apps with no problems.

 

I reset phone to factory settings and only installed the Outlook app again from the google andoid app website.  I have not installed anything else to make absolutely sure that nothing is interfering with it.

 

Any Help would be appreciated.
