Overwriting text in Hotmail messages. Tried toggling Insert key. Still doing it.

All of a sudden when I am composing a message in Hotmail and going back to add or edit something in between some text, the new text is overwriting. I tried toggling the Insert key but it's not helping.

 

I am not having this problem in any other programs. I checked. So what can I do to stop overwrite when writing up a message or replying to someone in Hotmail? What else can I try?

 

P.S. It's not overwriting in this message box either. Just checked here too. It's just when I type an email message in Hotmail only.

Not receiving all forwarded e-mails from another account in Hotmail

Hi,

I have set up my e-mail account with my local internet service provider to forward all incoming mails to my Hotmail (now Outlook.com) account.  This normally works fine but I sometimes notice that certain mails are not forwarded; I only receive them in my (hard drive) MS Outlook, not in Hotmail.   I've searched the junk and other folders for it but they are just not there.  I tried to figure out which e-mails specifically are not forwarded; it are mails sent directly to me (e.g. list serve mails all arrive normally in Hotmail as well as newsletters), but I cannot extract a specific pattern to be able to predict or determine exactly which are and which are not forwarded.  Any similar issues; answers why this may be so?  Thanks!

“Manage My Folders” in Hotmail. Where did it go?

Have Windows 7 Home Premium and using Hotmail.

For some reason there is no access to any way of deleting old folders. The "Folders" heading on the left has only the arrow for "refresh" option and the "show/hide folders" alternatives. None of the settings under the cogwheel up in the right-hand corner gives any folder management options.

Ideas and/or suggestions? 

how to recover old emails in hotmail that were deleted due to inactivity?

I logged into my hotmail account around two years ago.But recently when i logged in i found that all the old emails were missing.Those emails were really were important .Is there any way to recover those emails that were deleted due to inactivity?
Please provide me with some solution as those emails were really very important.

Can someone please delete my hotmail account?

This has been the most frustrating thing I have had to deal with so far with Microsoft. Not only did they automatically attach my xbox account to my hotmail account, (without asking) they have also attached my mothers email account to this profile. Now, even though i changed the email to yahoo.com, i cant delete my hotmail account. I hate outlook with a passion and dont have any use for the junk email this account has become. when talking to a customer service rep the other day, she had no idea what to do either. please delete this useless account

Since hotmail has transformed to microsoft outlook, all my important documents /email data were saved online are lost and I cannot retrieve them from deleted folder even . Nothing seems to be there or in order since my last visit to Hotmail account.

Although it has been time since my last login to Hotmail .Pls help

Hi all.

I have a special situation with mail being sent to hotmail from a dedicated server.
Mail is not rejected by hotmail, but it's never delivered, nor bounced.
IP reputation is good as seen at SNDS, and reverse resolution and SPF are all right.
If email is not rejected and not bounced by hotmail, why do outlook.com users not receive those emails?

Any clue? Thanks!
