Unable to recover hotmail account

I think this has been mentioned before on other post's but I have not been able to find it I have some how managed to delete my hotmail account and put in an alias for Gmail, my problem is I am unable to retrieve hotmail emails either via outlook.com or microsoft outlook (where as before I could) I get the following errors messages when I try to reset up the hotmail account, You can't use @hotmail.com in your Microsoft account email address. Please try a different email address. and also this one, That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different email address even though I have had emails yesterday to that account, and This email address is part of a reserved domain such as live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Please enter a different email address. hopefully someone will be able to help.

Dear Alix,

I note that there has been not further posting on this topic for about six weeks. I am having the same problem and am unable to use the Hotmail connector to update my Nokia Windows 8 smartphone. My password will log me into Microsoft but not into the Hotmail Connector.

Please advise.

Hi I wonder if someone can help me to resolve this issue

I created a hotmail account which is not the same account i used for Facebook

I look at my hotmail profile and the only service I am linked are Messenger and Skype.

Anyhow my account hotmail has been linked to my facebook and I am don't know what to do to unlink my hotmail from my facebook.

Hi,

Starting earlier today my Hotmail account has just stopped working.

I went to check my mail and Live Mail came back with this:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (spp2007) account.

Server Error: 5102

Server: 'https://mail.services.live.

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

Then i went to log into Outlook.com and it told me something had gone wrong so i clicked try again, and it went through okay, and i could see all the emails up to 1:05pm today (July 18), but i couldn't read any of the unread messages, nor was it receiving the test emails i'd sent from a Gmail account or anything from anyone else i asked to send me something.

It will however send mail but will tell me there was an error and the mail hasn't sent even though it has.

I've tried clearing the browser cache, the history, i've tried multiple other computers and connections, nothing seems to be working.

Any ideas, i need this to get fixed.

Somehow all my yahoo emails went to hotmail and then outlook took over and now I cannot find the emails that went to my hotmail account

also I created a new POP account which is incorrect how do I fix or delete it

also how do I add or delete for setting the default menu in internet options that is how this all started was trying to add yahoo as my default and it was not in the list

I have vista internet explorer 9

All Gmail mail gets forwarded to Hotmail. Make it stop.

Hi. I have two e-mail accounts, a Hotmail one and a Gmail one. Somehow, I configured it such that everything that gets sent to my Gmail address ends up in my Hotmail inbox, and I can only reply using the Hotmail address. I don't receive any messages in my Gmail inbox, either. I want to separate these accounts. I've already tried adjusting the POP and IMAP settings, but nothing seems to work. What can I do? It's very important I separate these accounts as one is strictly for work and school.

Hotmail account no longer works with ActiveSync

Since you guys started moving Hotmail to Outlook.com my Galaxy S2 that I had working just fine with ActiveSync and Outlook 2010 has stopped working. My contacts and calendar stopped syncing over a month ago and now my e-mail will not download on the phone. I've tried deleting and recreating the account on my phone, but still no sync. All my contacts and calendar items appear on Outlook.com, but they just won't sync to the phone nor will items sync from the phone to Outlook.com and then to my Outlook 2010 on the PC. This is a major problem for me. I've tried all kinds of different servers to get this to work, but anything other than m.hotmail.com returns an error of incorrect protocol or incorrect password. How can I get ActiveSync working with my phone and PC again?

Yesterday I could access Hotmail fine. 18 updates were automatically completed last night and when I turned computer on today I received the Hotmail error. All other websites are working fine and I can access Hotmail from my mobile phone.

How do I fix this?
