Cannot Recover Hijacked Hotmail Account

Hi,

Attempting to modify my Xbox Live Membership prompted me to sign in to the Hotmail account I have tied to Xbox Live. I've found my Hotmail password no longer works, and when attempting to reset the password via the methods available, I also found that that the answer to my Security Question has also been changed, and any existing alternative emails have been deleted, leaving me unable to sign in or reset the password to that account.

The Hotmail account was created nearly a decade ago and it has been years since I've sent or received any emails from it (I use the account for Xbox Live and nothing more). Because of this, the information I could provide to the Security Questionnaire was limited to my Xbox Live payment details and the password I used to use before it was changed by the hijacker. This information was held to be not sufficient enough to recover my account.

I would very much like my account back, however after my application via the Questionnaire was rejected, I'm not sure how to proceed.

Any advice on how the account could still be recovered? I'm still signed in to my Hotmail via Xbox Live, if that helps at all.

not receiving emails to my hotmail inbox

I stopped receiving emails to my Hotmail inbox yesterday. Have checked the junk mail and other folders, have made sure I have the latest browser.

Have checked all my settings and blocked lists and all suggestions from the moderators from all the discussions on this topic. Have also sent emails to my Hotmail account from another email account and it says its sent but when I check my Hotmail it isn't there. I am able to send emails from my Hotmail but not receive them.

Need my inbox to work asap. Please Help!!!

Hello All,

I am asking for assistance again and your undying patience in helping me recover my hacked email/windows live account. The experts here have been very supportive but to no avail and I will like to post this once more.

My hotmail account was hacked several months ago and the alternate email address was changed too. I have tried the online recovery numerous times with all the required information relevant to the account being provided by myself.

I can prove with the IP addresses and all my close contacts that it is indeed my email account.

I know I am not the first person this has happened too. There are many long standing hotmail users like myself. I have had this account for 15 years and am determined with patience to recover it..

I have tried several times to delete my Hotmail account and keep getting sent to the screen that says I need to cancel billing services. I already have. Please, I want to cancel this account immediately due to that fact I no longer use it. Not to mention the weird spam.

2nd time, since no reply from the first, I have had my hotmail account hacked/phished, etc, and cannot get in, persons have changed all the information as to make it so I cannot recover it through the support survey. I NEED help asap and I cannot understate the extreme importance of getting help. Email is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, and I cannot get any help from any site whatsoever- in fact, the lack of support has given birth to a new type of scammer, the "hotmail recovery pc" websites, the 888 or 800 numbers that prey on desperate people trying to get their lives back. Look, I have windows 8, and have been faithful to the microsoft brand (htc windows phone 8x, xbox over ps2,3, etc) but I really need you to pull together and help me on this- my life is at stake here- all my business contacts and important documentation are stored on hotmail. HELP PLEASE.

I used to be able to view my hotmail simply by hitting my hotmail icon and it would bring in the recent emails.Now i have to sign in every time before I can view .I have check'd off the stay on line box but still no result.Also i was able to move emails to the read option but no longer can.

It's likely been about 6-9 months since I last logged in, but I would still like to have this account active for emergencies.

How do I login? I tried the main microsoft login page when you type in www.hotmail.com, I got the following message after putting in my fieldchick@hotmail account and password:

That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different email address or get a new account.

Delete someone else’s FaceBook photo from my hotmail account ASAP!

In hotmail/outook when I view settings for "content from 3rd party networks" there is a photo of someone named Jordan Lane and hotmail/outlook thinks his facebook account is mine! His image is being sent with ALL of my outgoing email. I verified with one of my email recipients that this guy's image is being seen on the receiving side. I need it off of MY account NOW. I don't know him, I don't know how it got there and I'm angry that hotmail/outlook would take the liberty of trying to link my email account to ANYTHING or ANYWHERE without my permission. I have clicked the button to not show public content from 3rd party networks and it does NOTHING. I cannot control this other person's facebook account and yet hotmail/outlook is ALLOWING his image to be on MY email account - the GALL! GET THE PHOTO OFF OF MY EMAIL ACCOUNT NOW!

Hey there guys. Earlier on I was trying to access an old account to reset my password for another service. I have one email address that I only use for my PlayStation account and basically I had forgotten my password on my PlayStation account so I sent a password reset request to my email address. The PlayStation network recognised my email as it was correct. But then when I hopped over to the Hotmail site to log in and proceed with the password reset, Hotmail gave me an error every time I attempted to log into the account.

I was using all the correct credentials and I even tried to reset the password on my Hotmail account but this also gave me an error message stating that the account was non existing. This account was never really used as I said I only used it to create my PSN account and it has been left untouched for almost 2 Years now.

So anyone got any idea on what is going on here? Or has anyone else experienced the same problems with disused accounts disparaging?

By the way this Hotmail account ended in " @live.co.uk " I don't know if that helps at all but that's all the information I can provide.

Help needed with hotmail set up in the Microsoft outlook

Hi I wanted to set up my microsoft outlook with the exisiting hotmail account. It is a new set up for a new computer. As a result I have the comment that connection with Microsoft exchange is not available outlook must be online or connected then I have a window from microsoft exchange asking about server name and mailbox. I tried some options here but nothing works Could you help? Cheers Magda
