How can I delete this hotmail account? Extremely stressful experience. I've been trying for days now to delete this hotmail account. I have two, I only need one. when I try and close the account it tells me to cancel any billing services
and then to deactive the hotmail account. I can't do either. When i go to the billing site it tells me that there are no billing services associated with the account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I attempt to close my Hotmail/msn.com email account, the system gives me the following message:
To close your Outlook account, you must first cancel your billing service. Go to Microsoft Account and Billing Services at https://billing.microsoft.com.
This service was canceled in 2007 and the page says CANCELED. How can I cancel something that is already been canceled?
I need to close that msn/Hotmail account immediately as all it does is send SPAM mail to contacts I had 8 years ago.
PLEASE HELP.
It looks like this is a common problem. Geoffrey A. was able to resolve for another person on here on July 4th - question title "can't close my Hotmail account"

I have two old Microsoft accounts; one is a Hotmail account, the other a free MSN account (found the sign up link a few years back). I'd like to close both as they are no longer used, the problem is billing services won't let me! I seem to be stuck in

i cant find any info on how to cancel billing service. need brief explanation to close my account and services.
Tried searching for my problem on here. This same **** has been going on for others for well over a year. At this rate "cancelling account" should have its own topic. So I try to cancel my account and it redirects me to billing services that I need to
cancel but don't have. Mods locked previous threads before anyone could post of success or not.
