have error 5102 each time I try my usual hotmail, how can I get rid of this and return to normality instead of having to google hotmail through microsoft account

for a week now I have not been able to access my mail through usual Hotmail account, can read and reply through Microsoft but this is not the easy access I had. Server error 5102 ID 0x8DE00002 cannot be got rid of. Have checked everything else and there are no issues but why has this happened.

Outlook.com deleted all old emails, stopped forwarding without warning. How do I get them back?

Hi,

I am a long-term user of Hotmail for my personal emails. For some time now I have had my mail forwarded to another address.

I am now aware that I have not been receiving my usual @hotmail.com address emails for the last 6 days. Having logged into the Hotmail website, it appears that Hotmail has now become Outlook.com. All my old emails are gone, and my emails from the last 6 days are nowhere to be seen. The settings show that my mail was no longer set to be forwarded to my other email address.

Basically, it seems I've been changed over to Outlook.com without warning (!!), that my settings have been returned to default, and I've lost all my old email and the emails that were being sent to my @hotmail.com address over the past week.

I require assistance in:

1) Restoring all my old emails back to my account
2) Obtaining my emails I was sent over this past week but have not received

(I have reinstated email forwarding myself)

Thankyou for your urgent assistance. These emails are of great importance to me and it is very upsetting to find that my service has been changed and emails deleted without notice.

HI Team!

For the past few days I have been unable to synchronize my Hotmail with Outlook. I have access to my Outlook.com, however, I would rather use Outlook 2010. Please assist me in troubleshooting my errors. I keep getting the following error:

Windows Live Mail won’t let me have my Hotmail back.

Up until three days ago I had Windows Live Mail with both my Comcast.net and Hotmail.com accts. No problems. Then my Hotmail acct quit receiving mail. The calendar "uploading" message kept flashing down in bottom right. So I uninstalled and reinstalled. Got this " Synchronizing please wait message." For two days. Then I totally uninstalled and reinstalled. All came back the same. Comcast fine. Hotmail "Synchronizing, please wait." Now what?

firefox cannot access hotmail account

firefox cannot access hotmail account although all other net functions are ok:
"Server not found      Firefox can't find the server at sn135w.snt135.mail.live.com.
    Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com
    If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
    If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web"
please reply to gmail address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***), since hotmail useless...

Deleted Emails! Help!

My hotmail is now my Outlook and because I haven't logged on lately all of my hotmail emails have been deleted--all of my important memories. Please help me get them back!

Deleting emails from Apple’s Mail & it goes in the POP folder

When I delete my emails from Mail on the Apple Desktop they are not deleted from my hotmail, they just go to POP. When I open hotmail and get the pop notification on the bottom I press change setting but then it says something is wrong with outlook. That happens every time I press change setting. How can I make it that when I delete emails from my Mail on the apple desktop it deletes it from hotmail, same things when sending emails to drafts....etc

I haven't accessed my hotmail in a while and I've now forgot my password, it is also saying my secret answer is wrong and I don't have enough info about my emails to answer the questionnaire can anyone help me get back into it :( I need to access the account to verify the account for my ICloud, I never use this account its just set up for Facebook etc notifications. Is there any other way of me resetting my password some other way???

Similar to this query – http://goo.gl/slhzrS – I'm seeking to recover hundreds or even thousands of emails. The relevant Hotmail account was active from ~1996 to around December 2005, at which time it was suspended or deleted by Hotmail due to perceived abuse on my part.

I have today recreated the same email address, however as one might expect, the previous stash of emails was not waiting to greet me in my new inbox.

Please advise how I might go about recovering the emails which were saved in this account. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I was switched from hotmail to outlook. When that happened I lost one feature in constructing emails: being able to highlight and then move a word/phrase/etc in the email being constructed.

I was switched from hotmail to outlook. When that happened I lost one feature in constructing emails: with hotmail I could hightlight a word/phrase/sentence/paragraph and then move it elsewhere in the email being constructed. With outlook, however, I can't. Any solution to this? I would think that outlook would be designed to improve the experience, not limit it. Thus, I wonder if I'm just missing something here. HELP!!!
