was typing, suddenly, no text;  not in deleted file, not in sent mail, not in draft file, not in recycle bin.  Where did it go?
Since updating to version 14.2.3, Outlook 2011 hands after opening an email or two, sometimes I can open 3.  Then I get the spinning ball which does not go away (I've left it for over half an hour) and I have to force quit.  This never happened before the 14.2.3 update.  I have tried rebuilding the database several times - no help.
i keep getting emails saying my mailbox is almost full but ive deleted most of my emails and im still getting this message. now im not getting any new emails. Whats happened and how do i put it right?
Can I see the email address of someone on an email just by pointing at it?  I used to be able to see the email address of a name in the past...

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Frank

My hard drive died and I had to get a new one. All my email was stored on a different drive. When I receive emails, it usally just shows who it is from such as John Doe. When I copy or import emails back into the program, it puts the name in quotation marks follwed by the return path between <> (example "John Doe" <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>. He makes the list of emails hard to sort and takes up a lot of space.

In addition when I copy emails from my sent folder to the new folder created for my mail contacts, it shows it was sent to me rather than the actual address where it was sent. I'm sure it's a registry fix but I don't know where to look.

Another issue I have had with Windows Live Mail is email containing pictures. Windows live puts them in a slide show rather than leaving them imbedded in the email itself. This is quire annoying.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

My Outlook 2011 and OSX are fully patched. My folders are fully synced. To test I run Outlook by itself.

Using Outlook with Exchange 2010 I find sending email exceedingly slow. A one sentence email will take 2 minutes to send.

Any clues? Candles and chanting were of no help. Nor was swearing.

Thanks
