So I had an issue that everytime I logged into my account I had a blank screen. In response to this I called customer support and during the process the alternative email was switched to that of the person that was helping me so that he could access the account and fix what ever was wrong with it. After that the alternative email remained that persons email and I was never told what the password is. So I called back and customer support seemed to be confused by my problem so told me to submit a verification form. 8 verification forms later no help. Called again and all the help I received was submit a verification form. Apparently my verification forms didnt supply enough info even if I filled out all boxes but 2. All I was simply asking if for them to changed my alternative email (which belonged to one of them) back to the previous alternative email which is apparently impossible. I've had the email address for about 9 years or so now and most likely forgot some things. Its used for email purposes, connecting with people and my xbox live account so i can verify credit card info and previous passwords and all but recent emails I can't because I've been at this problem for months. What can I possibly do next? I really want this email.
Hey guys, i'm in a bit of a dilemma here. I used to have internet service from a service provider called Bell. People from Canada know about them. A couple month ago I left their services but had my Xbox live account registered on a @bell.net email. Soon after that, Bell deleted my account their system and live. Now I cannot sign in to my Xbox live profile OR even reset my password cause it always says the email is invalid. I called customer support and after a long 1 and a half hour conversation they said they could not do anything about it since they needed to verify my account. The only ways to do that was by sending a code to my email, which I could not access, or sending a text to the number I had on my profile. Now that number, which was added about 5+ years ago, was a home phone number since I did not have a cell phone back then or even knew I should put in my cell phone. Now there is no way to verify my account so they cannot do ANYTHING about it. I'm still paying for live and have about $250+ worth of DLC, years of gamer score and friends id lose if I were to make a new account. Now I can provide verification through other methods such as my secret question, credit card number, birth date, etc. Customer support told me to post here to see if you guys could do anything about it. I really hope you guys can do something about this as I need my account back. I can provide my account info if a mod pm's me or can post it here if they say so. Thanks. Also, i'm not sure if this is the right category.

After attempting to log into my hotmail account with the CORRECT password…I was informed that my password was not correct and had to follow the steps provided to recover my account.  After following the steps TWICE and sending a separate message to customer support I have still not heard anything back!  Please help me ASAP!!!! My daughter is getting married and I require access to my email to do my duties as mother of the bride….not to mention this is my only form of contact for a lot of my family who do not live in the area.   I called 1-800-microsoft and they informed me that they do not have “phone support” for hotmail/outlook.com applications and that my only option is online here.

Any help provided to me would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!

Best Regards,

Darlene Kane

I have had Windows Live Hotmail Plus for several years.  After searching online Help and 4 phone calls to customer support, they referred me to you.  How do I determine the current size of my mailbox?  I pay for 20GB, but up to 2GB is free.

Thank you in advance

My account seems to be working  fine, but I keep getting this email message:

Dear Naomi Underwood,

This mail is confirmation that your subscription to Windows Live Hotmail Plus has been cancelled on Saturday, August 24, 2013.

To reach Customer Support, go to https://commerce.microsoft.com, select 'help', click 'Getting help' and then click 'Contact Customer Support'.

Thank you for using Microsoft Online Services.

Microsoft Customer Support

I know this isn't a support forum, but I was curious if anyone else has had the same issue and might offer some advice.  I've been locked out of my live account & for over a month, waiting for the "escalation team" to handle my account, but they've not done anything yet.

Customer support keeps giving me the run around - they say that there's no way to contact this team, they are processing it and there's nothing that support can do for me.  Has this happened to anyone else before?  Do you have any suggestions other than "call them and get extremely angry" like my sister is telling me to do? Lol.  I almost feel like it with how frustratingly long it's taking them to help me out.

Just for a little info on my problem, I can log onto Live though my 360 but not my PC.  I purchased some games via the Steam summer sale (Dark Souls) that requires me to have GFWL active.  When I try to log into my account, it says someone else may be using my account (my 360?) and prompts a security code to be e-mailed to my secondary e-mail.  It never arrives.

This is all because I don't remember my account specifics (like the security question) because I made the darn account 7 years ago and don't actually use it as an e-mail.

Again, if anyone else has had this happen, let me know.  I'm not sure if there's a step I should take beyond calling customer service (who won't help) or not.

I assume this category qualifies for this question, since I can't even log into the account via e-mail.

Thank you.
I am trying to send an e-mail in Outlook.com, and I included a group of about 220 recipients in the BCC field, and used the To: field to send to another of my personal e-mail addresses.

The e-mail appears in my sent mail folder and no errors or warnings appeared, but no one received the e-mail.  So far I have tried this twice, once five days ago and once earlier today.  Unfortunately I don't know if I am exceeding some limit, if it is a bug in Outlook, or something else.  I don't see any documentation anywhere as to group sizes or issues with BCC fields.

I am very frustrated with Microsoft's customer support for Outlook.com (which essentially is none).  When I had similar problems on Yahoo, I could reach a customer support person immediately.  I'd gladly upgrade to the paid version of Outlook to get at least some basic customer support, but that doesn't seem to be offered.

Prior to my Windows Live Hotmail Plus subscription expiration date, I can to cancel my credit card due to unauthorized charges.  At renewal, I was reminded that I needed to update billing because I received a credit card declined notice on my auto-renewal attempt.  At that time, I entered my new card and because the notice said another attempt would be made to charge my card, I thought my subscription was safe.  Today I received a confirmation of cancellation.

I'm not sure what it takes to get the subscription aligned with the correct credit card.  The notice indicated I could contact customer support to reactivate "If your service term is expired, you must contact Customer Support to reactivate your service."   The cancelation notice said "To reach Customer Support, go to https://commerce.microsoft.com, select 'help', click 'Getting help' and then click 'Contact Customer Support'."  Following the instructions, the Forum is the only support provided.  This is a lot of hoops to try and continue paying for my subscription.

Kindly reactive my subscription.
