Is Outlook for Mac 2011 actually downloading, or is it somehow duplicating messages and just saying that it's downloading? Is there any solution for this?
Every couple weeks, one user or another in my office will report that Outlook for Mac 2011 is re-downloading hundreds or thousands of emails. Initially I thought these folks needed to set Outlook to delete mail from the server, but in the latest instance,
the user definitely has that property set. The size of his mail file on the server is tiny, but this morning his Outlook started "downloading" nearly 5,000 messages back to at least 2012. He's using version 14.3.4, but I believe newer versions have seen this
behavior as well.
For the last couple weeks I have been receiving emails to my hotmail/outlook account that are directed to another individual. I am concerned that my email may have been hacked. The email address is the exact same as my own except it is in all capital letters
where there are letters. I have tried to email this email address and my account says it is my own and I end up emailing myself. How is it possible that someone set up this account if it cannot be emailed? How can I go about contacting microsoft to solve this
issue. It is of great concern to me and I am contemplating deleting my hotmail account entirely to remove the threat.
My laptop crashed a couple weeks ago. I reinstalled window 7 and window essectial, but the window live mail does not work. Can not sent or received any mail. The above errors appeared. Can you help ?. Thanks. Amanda.
