Hi,

I can receive but not send emails. The error message is "Invalid Certificate". Also comments "Outlook could not sign or encrypt this message because you have no certificates that can be used to send from the email address. What settings can I check on Outlook 2003 so that I can allow re-sending of emails?

I have really run out of ideas here.  All that I am trying to do is add certificates to contacts that I have in my address book.  When I go to the "Details" tab in an email and try to "Add Encryption Certificate to Contacts" it never shows up on the contact.  When I download the certificate manually then go to the contact hit the "+" button and try to add it, it seems like it is adding it but never shows up.

So far I have done a "rebuild" on the identity, created a new identity and tried every which way to add the certificates.  They just will not add...  If anyone could help me out with this issue I would very much appreciate it!

Original Title: "Outlook for mac 2011"

I have configured my emails and get a green light, presumably, indicating that my email accounts have been set up properly and are working. However, I am only able to receive emails and not send them. When Outlook first opens I get the following pop up message:

A failure occurred during certificates trust verifications. Please specify the trust settings for the certificates that need updating. If you continue, the information that you view and send will be encrypted, but will not be secure.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Im trying to work with certificates using outlook and their certificate manager. I got a free one from comodo but it cant be formatted for outlook. Is there a way to get a correctly formatted (free)cert from hotmail or if not any suggestions on what should be done?

I need proof that both sides of the emails are securely encrypted and be able to test out both sides to show the encryption works.
Im using google apps synce for Microsoft outlook with a gmail account and a proper cert which can encrypt perfectly.

Also is it possible to sign and encrypt in browser using hotmail? I cant find any buttons or options to do so, Im using Firefox as a browser with current update.

Thanks for the help!!!
