I am trying to close my 67 year old mothers e-mail account since it was hacked yesterday. When I try to close the account it says that billing information must be closed out.

There is no billing information linked to the account since just hotmail was being used. I try to follow the instructions but when I get to the billing info there is no information listed so there is nothing to cancel. So when you try to do this step:
It will not work because the "billing" has not been cancelled
To close your Outlook account, you must first cancel your billing service. Go to Microsoft Account and Billing Services at https://billing.microsoft.com.
So I'm just trying to get this account closed for my mother so that people will stop sending solicitation e-mails in her name. Please help, as this situation is extremely frustrating and phone and chat support has been far
less than helpful.
