mail appears to remove emails that were in my folders after a certain period (4-6 weeks?)
I've googled the question to find out how to access my 'archived' emails however I'm finding it difficult to follow these instructions
can 'someone' please advise how I find where my 'mail' emails are stored?
I operate w10 and keyboard stopped working. Purchased a new one after verifying old one was faulty.
New one has USB old one Ps/2.
Got adaptor USB to ps/2. No go. Tried into USB and worked intermittent and now off altogether.
Have tried several "remedies "to an avail.
Last one was via TASKSCHD but no "expand"keyboard section.
Any help would be appreciated as I am a bit of a novice.
Hi, I have had Windows Live Movie Maker on my Windows 10 device for a while, and have had no problems up until a few weeks ago. First time round it was Movie Maker corrupting the files altogether, like where you just get the little yellow '/!\' thing, however this seemed to have fixed itself, but the video I drop/upload into movie maker are darkened. Not completely dark, the audio still plays and I can still see the video, however there is a black tint over the video which significantly hinders the quality of it.
I figured this may be to do with the fact i'm using a highly outdated version of Windows Movie Maker (i'm aware you can no longer download it as it has been discontinued) and tried to use the Microsoft Video Editor which is meant to be compatible with Windows 10, but it does the same with the videos on that too. I have tried multiple videos to see if there is a difference though it's the same no matter which video I upload.
I have been running a Win7 desktop using WLM 2011 on a POP3 basis with my comcast/xfinity email account. I am now moving to a new Win10 desktop and am looking for the best email migration approach to retain my WLM 2011 history (about 1400 emails, largest folder is 489; plus 156 contacts). Since I have been a POP3 user all my emails, folder structures, and list of junk mail domain names are stored on my Win7 machine. I would prefer to keep all my emails and contacts within my Win10 email client.
Win10 Mail App functionality would be sufficient for me but I understand that it is not compatible with my WLM 2011 EML files. I am reluctant to try to install WLM 2011 on my Win10 machine, since with no ongoing support I worry that program could just bring future problems. I am open to switching to a non-Microsoft email client that can support my EML files in a simple migration, but it would need to be one that is well-supported and reliable when run on Win10. Given these parameters, I would appreciate advice on what options to consider for this Win10 email migration.
Luckily most goes to my spam box - just found out my details are on the dark web which can put you in prison.
Was told if you change your phone number [Australia] you can still get an old compromised number.
Does the same apply to emails if you change it - that is you get a compromised one and spambox fills up again within weeks?
Or should I just use Gmail as google say they will be sorting the spam problem soon ?
Even though I have always used and loved WLM - especially message rules.
