I reinstalled Office mac 2011 today and all will open except for Outlook which comes up with the message 'this identity cannot be opened with this version of Outlook' HELP!!!

I have two home Macs and would like to be able to sync the calenders and contracts in Outlook....I can't figure this out! Help
After downloading this software patch, it says it cannot install onto my hard drive because it cant find Office. It is an essential patch to get the Outlook for Mac 2011 to sync with iPhone 4S. 

I have tried everything to get Outlook to sync with my iPhone calendar with no luck.

Please could you advise?

Dear All,

I have multiple email accounts, like 8 of them. I realised that there are 2 accounts which are having an issue. Whenever i received mails on these 2 accounts and hit reply on the email, the account to send out will be automatically assigned to the default account.

Is there a fix?

I have 15 email accounts all working in my one Outlook. Some are business and some are person. When ever I send or receive a reply the top of the reply email has "From:, Sent:, To:, Subject:".

The "From:" or "To:" always has my personal name (depending if I'm receiving or sending). When I send business emails I'd like it to have my business name or when I send an email for a different account I'd like it to have a different name. How do I make it so it doesn't always input my personal name?

In my account settings each email address has a different name and this name appears in the inbox, however it doesn't appear in the reply text within an individual email.

When i first got the Mac with outlook, my contacts used to appear as their respective group folders when I clicked on Contacts Search when composing an e-mail.  Now I get a blank list with a drop down button that says"All Folders", only when clicking on that do my group folders appear. How can I restore it so that the group folders appear when I click on "Contacts Search?"

I currently sync my office 365-OWA to my microsoft outlook 2011 (mac).  I have also synced an organizing program called curio to my outlook 2011 through iCal. 


A problem came up in that any think that was an all day event or event a present holiday, like new years day would duplicate every time it synced in an exponential manner.  

  In order to work around this, I deleted all of my all day events from all calendars up until 2014 and this work.  However, every time it I open and sync accounts, it is exponenentially duplicating previous and future events beyond 2014.  


Is there any way to stop this?  Either by limiting the dates of syncing calendars or just limit the time period of the calendar?  (I do not need to currently keep a calendar after 2014 and it would be great to archive my old calendar, instead of having it continuously resync and eventually crash my computer.)


Doing this either through OWA or outlook 2011 is fine...I just need it to stop.
