When I send an email in Outlook 2011 for MAC, it seems to post a message which goes to Junk mail which says its from "System Administrator" with subject Message Unavailable. Anyone know how to resolve this?
When I try to email a file from an open program, Outlook starts to open and then closes. I am able to manually open Outlook and then paste the file or link. I don’t remember changing anything that would have caused this to happen. This has been an ongoing
issue for about a month. Thanks for everyone’s help.
I am super worrying now.......Originally the Outlook required me to rebuild the "Main Identity" and I tried it more than 8 times but still unable to compete it and so it simply delete the Main Identity - then i found all my emails gone.
Can I get back the emails ? ( I have never done any back-up)
After I deleted a bunch of old emails in MS Outlook 2011 for Mac all my Contacts disappeared and most of my Calendar appts, Email was OK. Tried rebuilding the DB but it failed with error 18000. Tried restoring DBs from Time Machine - but all DB rebuilds
fail with error 18000. What can I do? My DB is 1.5 GB and I have 35 GB of free space on my MBA. This sucks. I see that a bunch of other people have had similar issues - sounds like a software problem.
Hi --
I constantly have to remove the Microsoft Database Daemon from my Login Items but it keeps coming back. I have locked the Login Options page in my Accounts -- and I'm the Administer for all of my Macs -- but still that darn "feature" keeps reappearing.
It causes me extra work with my backup program since I need to remove it and then restart in order to synchronize 5 different Macs and I cannot do that if the Database Daemon is already running. I've tried to remember to remove it from the Login Items when
I shut down each machine, but sometime I forget to remove it. It then causes me issues again the next time I start that computer up again.
Is there any setting I can make that will prevent the Database Daemon from being added automatically to my Login Items?
Thank you
Hello fellow outlook 2011 mac users.
One of my computers developed a strange issue. When I delete and email from the inbox, depending on the email, it asks "are you sure you want to permanently delete the message?" instead of going to the deleted items folder. If I choose yes, its gone forever.
If I choose no, it stays in the inbox.
I'm not sure why it is happening with some emails and not others. Its really buggin me. There is only 1 (pop) account setup for this profile. I am using the latest version of Outlook 2011 that is available for download (14.2.5). Any ideas?
Is there a way to have an email signature only on new email messages and not on email replies in Outlook 2011 for mac?
I hate when the due days for tomorrow - 6 days from today, appear in the form "in 1 day", "in two days"..."in 6 days". I want them to show "today" and all other items in date format, based on the due date! Does anyone know how to change this?
How can I save my email locally in Outlook cause when I delete emails from my mailbox they also get deleted from Outlook.
Hi,
I have many flagged emails in the Inbox, I have opened the "Tasks" window and deleted most of the tasks by right clicking and "delete". But later I realised they all got deleted in the "Inbox" and from Favourite Folders too. I have checked the Delete folder but there is none. Can you please help recover my mails? I am using Outlook 2011 on MacBookPro.
