I recently moved from a PC to a Mac in a corporate environment (using Exchange server).  I want to be able to view multiple user calendars in separate columns simultaneously, like I used to when using Outlook for PC.  Currently I see everyone's appts/meetings on my own calendar, making it very confusing and difficult to distinguish who's calendar items are whose.  Plus, various users like to color-code (categorize) their calendar items, but all I see is one color for everything.  Help!
Have configured my personal domain shoptosurprise.com at domains.live.com

I am facing problems while I try to access the mails via outlook.
Outlook Mac 2011.

I am using the following steps:
1. I chose manual email setup
2. Entered my credentials(full email address and password)
3. Chose pop3(Since, I want my emails to be available to me even I'm out of network coverage).
4. Entered following
POP3 Settings
username : full email address
password : *password to my custom domain's live mailbox
pop3 server : pop3.live.com
security type : SSL(accept all certificates)
port : 995
SMTP Settings
username : smtp.live.com

I need to choose TLS as security type but there isnt any option. we have a option of SSl but that doesn't work either.

With these connections, i can recieve mails but can't send mails.

Please help me.
Whenever I click the Send/Receive button, Outlook begins sending an large unknown file. It does not indicate a file name; there is no unsent file in the Drafts folder; there is no indication of where or what the file is. I cannot stop this from happening. Eventually, I get an error message that the file exceeds file size limit.

At the bottom right of the window, the progress bar shows Sending... , and after the progress bar it states 0/2.

The only way I can get it to stop sending is to click on Tools, then the Progress icon; then click the X after the progress bar there.

I suspect I have a virus, but I don't know.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I am trying to import apple mail emails to outlook 2011.
What I simply do is select the import option from outlook 2011, select apple mail from options, then select the files to be imported and click import button. But all the imported files are blank.

Why is so?
Is there any other way to do this?
Need to solve this problem asap!
I have spent way too much time looking for a way to enlarge the fonts of My Day so they are readable for me.
All of the fonts, including the menu header fonts are, to my eyes, microscopic in nature.
The my day concept is good but if I can't read it, it's useless.

Any help out there?

I am using Office for Mac 2013

I have multiple appointments (sometimes 15) for the SAME appointment under "no category". I believe it is from when Entourage was imported, which I imported multiple times because I couldn't figure out what I was doing…I KNOW human/me error. I did remove the "entourage" category…but they all now go under the "no category".

I have tried to go into each and every appointment, cancelled the series or recurrences; which in turn sent dozens of cancellations to the person that was invited!!! But the appointments do NOT go away the following month or year! For example, my husband had sent a DAILY reminder to call for something.  He didn't put an end date as we wanted it to continue until we actually called and then he would cancel it.  Well, I have dozens upon dozens from past years and they are all multiplied. Yes, I have changed the recurrence/series and deleted…THEY ARE STILL THERE!!!!

The ONLY way I can figure out how get rid of them is to hide them by unchecking the "no category" on the calendar.  Which then when he sends me an appointment invite and I accept, it doesn't show up because he isn't in a category. Is there a way to have his appointment invites go directly to a specified category in my calendar???

SURE HOPE I'M MAKING SENSE!!!

IF anyone has a solution to either of these problems….PLEASE…I would GREATLY appreciate it!!!
I have a POP account and the server went down for 2 days and since then I have not been able to receive any mail. I am able to send emails but not able to receive any. It says messages received but then it gives the message below. I am able to get my mail on my blackberry and ipad but not on my Mac computer.

Updated to 2011's 14.3.4 yesterday (Friday May 25th). Since then my Exchange and iMap account refuse to delete email. You delete them, they come back 5 seconds later.

The only anomaly here is that on Tue the 21st, I accidentally changed my date to +1 day so the 21st = 22nd. I ran a few days like this, came home and noticed this on Friday (Yesterday). Changed it back. No biggie - No problems. Got mail for the next few hours on all account, it would delete, no problems.

Then I did a manual update to 14.3.4 and ONLY after that, the issues started up. At first my junk email folder was growing like crazy. I had 100 copies of the same email with the same time stamp but via the web interface (it was an imap account), there was only one. OUTLOOK was just downloading it over and over. Deleting it on the Mac did nothing. It kept coming back. I had to delete it on the server.

Then all emails across imaps, hotmail and exchange will not delete. You delete, empty trash, they come back. On the respective server, they're there but apparently only one copy and untouched by exchange.

Here's the sad part. I did an empty cache of my EXCHANGE server only after confirming that my web interface showed ALL my emails there PLUS all my emails were on my local Mac 2011 machine. Guess what. OUTLOOK DELETED MY ENTIRE EXCHANGE FOLDER but LEFT THE PROBLEM EMAILS........

So I've lost TWO YEARS of work and while I'm hoping to get that restored, this is still something that only started happening after 14.3.4 was installed.

Thoughts? Could the date change have caused this? I don't see how as anyone relying on dates to affect deleting email or causing the destruction of years of inbox emails would be ludicrous.

Unfortunately I have some troubles getting Outlook 2011 for Mac to work with my outlook.com account. Whenever I add a new Exchange account Outlook is asking my for a server address after providing the email address. Can anybody help me solving this issue?

BTW: Using POP3 and SMTP is not an option.
From the start of my business firm I have been using mac and outlook 2011 to receive and send emails, maintain calender and store addresses of my clients. Recently I have bought a new windows laptop that has office 2010 installed in it. Now what I want to do is transfer all my emails from mac to windows outlook. I am also concerned about the contacts and the address book because there are thousands of them and typing them one by one seems a wastage of time.

I am sure there might be some other way out.
Thank you
