Any ideas what's causing this, and how to fix?
Outlook for Mac 2011 worked fine for a year. Now, for no discernible reason, it will no longer open. It begins to open, the gold box appears, then it stops and the box vanishes in about a second.
The message could not be sent because it has unresolved recipients. Error Code 50
This multiple address group in outlook 11 has always worked before, now I get above message. Outlook is screwed up. Please help! IMAP

months, then yesterday, 12/30, it just stopped and I'm getting above message. I have been running for several weeks Maverick OS X 10.9.1 (13B42), and IT FOULED UP 9:00 AM 12/30/13. I updated to Office 14.3.9 at 8:00 PM thinking perhaps it would fix, it did
not. Gotta tell ya, stuff like this honks me off.

Hi,
I need to help out someone that is from outlook express to outlook for mac. I got the emails imported into outlook for PC as he has a vm running windows for business reasons. But the main intention is to use the mac as the main os running things.
So I got the emails into outlook for windows 2013 and exported PST files for the necessary folders. When I go into Outlook for mac, which is version 2011, I get the structure for the folders, but never get any of the emails in the folders.
I've tried imported just a folder and the whole library and without any success.
Can someone help out and have any ideas as to what is going on ?

I use Office for Mac 2011 and have had a bevy of problems to date. Most recently, my calendar in Outlook is creating hundreds of duplicate entries for birthdays and annually recurring events. This slows Outlook to a virtual crawl every time it syncs
with our Exchange server.
When I attempt to delete the entries, they simply return with the next sync and I receive the notification, "Could not synchronize record."
Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!
I recently purchased a new Macbook Pro with Retina Display. I installed my Outlook 2011 Home and Business edition on the computer and proceeded to add my account to Outlook. Outlook will download nearly all ~45k messages, but when it gets to the last
5-10 messages the entire program freezes and I have to force quit.
I've had zero luck trying to fix this and there is no available help from Apple because it's a Microsoft product and no available help from Microsoft without paying a huge fee. Apple suggested using their Mac Mail and that's a very POOR substitute for Outlook.
Can ANYONE help?

Hi, I have a Mac with OS 10.9.1 using Outlook 365 to connect to my iCloud IMAP account.
I get a repeated error where Outlook says:
The server for account "xxxx" returned the error "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?
with Yes/No buttons
The password etc are fine - when I click 'no' the mail downloads. I've looked for solutions on the web and have repaired the Keychain and changed the outgoing port to 587
This happens daily ... any assistance much welcomed!
