Hi guus,

I just bought a Mac and I can see the Outlook 2011 for Mac is a bit outdated. Especially in the area of sync protocols - it doesn't support ActiveSync.

I heard some rumors that Office 2014 is gettting released for Mac this year. Would you happen to know a bit more detailed release date?

Do you know if this version will have the Active Sync protocol, so I can fully sync my outlook.com account with it? Currently I can only do email via IMAP.

Hi,

I want to know if there is a way to merge the "main identity" files.  Specifically my problem is as follows ...

I recovered the folder called "Outlook User Data" from my mac that I damaged the screen on (did a silly thing but that's another story).

I have purchased a new mac.  I've loaded it up with Office 2011.  I've started Outlook and a number of new emails have come onto the new mac.  How do I merge my old emails into the new mac?

Using the latest version of Outlook 2011 on OSX Mavericks 10.9.2 linked to a Exchange Server.

On my iPad and iPhone using the TaskTask App all my Tasks and Flagged items display correctly as they are using OWA.

In Outlook 2011 there are flagged messages missing, tasks due in future are mixed in with todays tasks despite the order being set to Due By. The list flashes and takes focus back to top item intermittently.

Any ideas as to why Outlook 2011 is not displaying the data it holds in the server and correctly displays on Apps and OWA?

Office was loaded and registered on the computer in July 2013, today when I go into Outlook it asks for the product key or to go to my account. When I enter the product key it will not accept it. When I go to my account I'm not sure what I need to do.

I am unable to receive or send emails - what do I do?

thanks

I am running Outlook 2011 on my Mac with a gmail (personal) account and exchange (work) account. I file all of my emails in a single folder under the exchange inbox titled 'processed' but I do use categories with them. I now have my categories set up just the way I like. Can I do the following:

1) have these categories synced to a PC running Outlook 2010 at work where I'm running exchange server. I would like the same categories across all of my computers and accounts.
2) have the categories on my Mac sync with gmail to create tags with the same names.

Many thanks,

Ed

We have three iMac computers and one macbook pro running outlook and a hosted microsoft exchange. two of the iMacs are running microsoft 360 while the other one and the laptop are using microsoft for mac 2011. We all have the same email address synced to our computers but the two with Microsoft 360 are not syncing with the other calendar and contacts. We can't see what the other add or take away. They are all syncing correctly otherwise. How can we get the calendars and contacts sync correctly?

Thanks!

I'm running this on a brand new MacBook Pro with Mavericks. The email is being run through IMAP. The downloading of the Inbox seems to work very sporadically. Most of the time it just says "Inbox: Downloading..." then shows how many messages it is attempting to download, for example, "0/9." Then it just sits there and doesn't download any of the email messages to the Inbox. I can see the messages on the web email but, again, they won't download to the Outlook Inbox.

Any ideas what the problem here is?

Thanks for your help!

I keep getting Error Code 179900.

Outlook then prompts me with:

The server for account "Packres" returned the error "[SYS/TEMP] (#AUTH701) Service is not available; please try again later.." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?

I enter the password and Outlook keeps giving me the same error and prompt to reenter my password.

The email account is a Yahoo POP business mail account.

I have no problems accessing my account via my phone and tablet, or via yahoo.com.

I checked for updates, and all updates are up to date.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I switched to Mavericks and now Outlook 2011 will not print emails. Literally nothing happens when you choose print in the message or the File menu. Nothing comes up on the screen and there is nothing in the printer tools waiting to be printed.

Outlook 2011 calendar items will print but not from email.

Every other Office 2011 application prints.

I've been through the entire set of MSFT support steps available, e.g. removing the com files, creating a new identity, repairing the database etc.

I've been through Level 5 support from Brother

I tried an Epson Printer - same result.

Has anyone experience this and did you solve it? If so I'd be grateful if you would let me know.

Thanks!

John
