Accidentally "upgraded" Hotmail to Outlook. Want to change it back to Hotmail. Outlook bites. Anyone know how ? Thanks !

I downloaded the hotmail mobile app on my android. E-mail syncs perfectly buy neither calendar ar contacts show up at all. How do I fix?
My inbox will show me that I have a new message, I click on it and read it. I then either delete it or just leave it there ( showing it has been opened ).
When I go out of Hotmail and come back to it, the message ( above) that I have read or deleted shows as a new message in my Inbox

With Hotmail being transferred into Outlook.com I suppose there is ongoing work on transferring the Calendar too.
My question is: do you have any information about it? When we will se new and refreshed Calendar with minimalistic style à la Skydrive/Outlook.com?
Because I'm very big fan of the new design.
