feeds showing in IE but not Windows LiveMail

So.  I've had two web-based RSS readers go belly-up on me this summer (Google Reader and The Old Reader, the latter of which just announced that it's shutting down for everyone but the developers' friends in two weeks).  I'm getting mortally tired of this, so I thought, well, IE/Windows LiveMail are supposed to have an RSS reader, why don't I try that?

 

So I tried to use LiveMail's typing in the feed URL in the appropriate dialog box to add a sample feed to see if I liked it, and LiveMail insisted that it wasn't a proper feed address even though I know it is (it's my own blog -- like I said, for a sample).  So I went to my blog's RSS feed address in IE, and found a "subscribe to this feed" button and clicked it, and lo and behold, the feed with the same address that LiveMail choked on shows up in both LiveMail's and IE's feed lists.  But, even though there are unread posts in that feed according to IE, LiveMail insists there aren't any.

 

I would prefer to use LiveMail's feed interface rather than IE's.  How do I make feeds work properly in LiveMail?

 

I'm on a Windows 8 machine with the most recent iterations of both LiveMail and IE. (the last time I asked a question here, I got asked for this info several times, even though it was quite clearly stated in the original post -- I'm just trying to save time here)

Talked to Xbox. Only option that is given to verify my xbox live email and live account is an old email that has been deleted for years. I originally signed up for xbox live while in college and used my college email address at that time. when i graduated from college my college email account was deleted after 6 months, which is standard practice. my old college email address is *** Email address is removed for privacy *** which has been deleted since 2009. Talked extensively w Xbox support. My account remains blocked because the only email that is given for an option to verify the account is through an email that no longer exists. I cannot add another email or sign into my good email *** Email address is removed for privacy *** because I am still locked out. I did fill out the ACSR form several times and got a reply that I did not give enough information. I cannot remember which debit card or credit card I used and cannot get into my account to check either and I just paid for a full year recently. I have had this account for so long And never had problems so I do not recal much of the specifics from when it was created but it is my account, I am paying for it, and I cannot use it. Today I reset my password on the account using my phone, received the txt and even after I reset the account my account is still blocked online and on my console. I verified my console w Xbox live support, also my phone number.             

Outlook Email accounts no longer linked

I have a @hotmail.com email address and a @live.com email address. Until recently (a few weeks ago) they were linked, now outlook changed something and I have to sign out of hotmail.com and log in again to open my live.com email. Does anybody know how I can link them again?

is microsoft Customer Service suppose to ask you for all your info including passwords to my account

I got a email from Microsoft Customer Service *** Email address is removed for privacy *** telling me VERIFY THIS EMAIL ADDRESS TO AVOID IMMEDIATE CLOSURE.  It will be easier if i just paste the email here,

Hi, i cant access my email account and i need to verify it is mine. However i do not have enough information to verify that it is mine. I have not been on this email for about 2 years so i have had to guess some information which is probably not correct. Is there any other way of getting it back?

windows 7 photo gallery 2012?

We could not find any search results in the community for "windows 7 photo gallery 2012, have several photos that I would like to use People Tags, it is a group of people, but I only want 1 person in the Tags, can I delete the other people faster than one at a time?"
I'll add this I am working on photos of my wife when she was in grade school, so the photos have all the classmates, I would just like to have the one "People Tag" of my wife, so is it possible to remove all the other People tags at one time, I have been doing it this on the Drop down Menu, I select "Don't show suggestion", so is there another way that is faster?

I’ve lost all the emails I recieved since June/1/13. Suddenly. How do I get those back?

I tried to access my account today on iphone and had no messages.  I logged into the account using PC and found that all the emails in the inbox since June/1/13 are missing.  The junk, sent and other folders are fine.  I am able to send and receive new emails.  How do I get those emails back?

My email account has been blocked and I cant login,

My kids tried to get into it and used the wrong password too many times and now I cannot get into it, the email attached to this is my second email.
