Why data fields for contacts are so limited?
We live in modern world and a lot of people have more than one personal e-mail, more than one work e-mail, more than 2 personal phone numbers, and ALL OTHER SERVICES ALLOW TO ADD PHOTOS TO CONTACTS.
Second question - I want to connect Facebook to my microsoft account but it imports all birthdays for my contacts and I receive 2 notifications about them. I'm already receiving birthday notifications from Facebook, how to remove them from Outlook.com calendar?
I want Facebook connected, but I don't want to see duplicates of birthdays.
Hi. I live in Europe and am travelling this month throughout the US. I scheduled several appointments into Outlook.com calendar (which is synced with my Lumia) and since I've arrived in America and my phone is now on EST, all of my appointments are showing
up as if the appointment were schedule for CET.
Is there an ability to create a calendar that is time zone agnostic?
I've also tried to go through the Outlook.com Calendar and change the time zones for the events to EST, but then they're shown incorrectly on Outlook.com because that calendar is set to CET. Shouldn't there be away to account for multiple time zones in
a calendar? My calendar is an absolute mess right now!

EDIT: Upon further research I've discovered there's no proper fix of the kind that I'd like. I've since edited all of my appointments on Outlook.com with the correct time zone information. It looks weird on Outlook.com, but it appears correct in my phone.
Still, if someone from Microsoft reads this, there really NEEDS to be an option to edit time zone information on the phone, or to create a time zone agnostic calendar or something like that. I won't have a laptop with me for most of my trip, so my phone
will be my primary input so I can't rely on Outlook.com. It's currently not a very "mobile-friendly" solution.

Desperate looking for answers for this. we had tried the following but still not working.
Able to replicate when Cached Mode Online is checked and all blank emails will just populate in outbox. Once unchecked, the blank emails in outbox will disappeared.
We had perform the following but still not working.
1) Recreate OST file.
2) Windows profile creation.
3) Outlook Profile creation.
4) OWA does not have the blank emails in outbox.
Any kind souls out there, please help!

I'm trying to sign my wife up for an outlook.com account - I have an existing account, which i can log into onto all PC's in my home. However, when I try to log in with my wifes account, I cannot access email - it always states "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook right now"
I've tried Firefox, Chrome, IE (on Win 8), I've cleared all browser history, done everything you guys state will work, and I still cannot access. This is the second time we've tried to sign up with the same result - I can access the account, skydrive and calendar, but not email.
Oh, and the status is all green!!!
So, whats the problem? Please don't tell me to "optimize the browser" - i've done all that. I just want a resolution to the problem.

Hi, I need the password reset option enabled for my user's account on my custom domain on the Windows Live Admin center. Some accounts on my domain are pass from users to users and I don't want to delete and recreate the same account each time.

My son can't access his account. We've tried the verification process but it says he's not providing enough information. He can't remember the last emails he sent (he uses the account to receive emails but doesn't often need to reply) and none of the other
questions apply.
Now it says his account is blocked. Argh!
What do we do? The process is automated and there's no link on how to speak to an actual person about this.
Outlook did NOT ask me where to save my OLD EMAIL. I have read myriad of same problems from other community members and tried ALL the suggestions to retrieve OLD HOTMAIL email to NO AVAIL. I need a forum moderator to privately access my outlook email to
