sync outlook 2007 with outlook.com

Sorry if this is repeating other questions but I can't find a good match to my problem:

Outlook 2007 sp3 on PC.  I am trying to sync with new windows 8 phone via outlook.com.  I followed the usual setup and now have the windows live calendar only in outlook 2007

It syncs contacts OK with windows live calendar on the web  ( and the to my phone ).  It says it syncs calendar as well but will not transmit any new appoitments from outlook to outlook.com.  The calendar in outlook.com is static - at the point where I did the original set up a few days ago.

The service status in outlook 2007 shows connected with no errors and the sync log shows no errors.  I had some errors a few days ago to do with some appointments in the past but these seem to have disappeared now.  I tried archiving outlook but the archive file is empty.  It may be that when I copied the calendar over from the pst file the date it archives is not the apptmt date but the date I copied accross the apptmts.  I tried the fix to add a key in the reg  see http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/archivenotworking.htm but to no avail - not sure if this is related to the sync problem.

Any ideas please ?

cant upgrade to ad free – Live account problem

When i try and sign up to ad free so I can get bigger emails I get the following problem:

If I send a mail to one of my email address hosted by by Hostgator I get the following:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients has been delayed.

This happens from any Hotmail/Outlook.com address

Following day I get the message :

Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable to connect successfully to the destination mail server.


I have spoken to Hostgator and they have checked and it is not a problem their end and there are no filters etc in place.

All other email seem to arrive e.g from Gmail, Yahoo etc just not Hotmail accounts :(...

I can send fine to Hotmail accounts from these email but just not receive!!

Please can you advise ASAP, as I host a couple of businesses email addresses on this server and I'm a little concerned if they are getting emails from customers with Hotmail accounts and they are not receiving them this is now starting to affect their businesses....

we have 2 PC’s I use to recieve emails on both, but just recently my new PC dosen’t get all my emails.my old PC has got Outlook Express and the new PC Microsoft Outlook

The above has only recently happened, it even applies to people who I have got in "My Contacts" The emails I don't receive aren't even in the phishing or blocked folders, I would greatly appreciate if any one can help me.

Hi - after moving to outlook.com I have been unable to access my emails/inbox..... this is very critical for me as I am totally reliant on this....

 

I keep getting the message - "We're updating your Inbox"

 

This seems a common problem - please can I get some support/assistance to resolve this.

I have an account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** which I have been locked out of. I opened a new account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** . I requested a code to be sent to the outlook address to enable me to open the live account but this code did not work. I repeated this several times with no success. Your urgent advice is requested.

My account was hijacked and my security questions have been changed by the person and the alternate email addres to retrieve the reset password is the hijackers info

My account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** has been hijacked.  this is an account that I have never used to send email from although it belongs to me.  I don't know how long it's been hijacked but I do know that i have 2 emails that was sent to this address and the only way I knew is because I received  calls from 2 of the individuals who sent email to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** because i didn't respond so I asked them to forward them to me and sure enough email was sent to this account but when i went to sign in i couldn't when i tried to reset my password i could not use the options listed because the one listed to email password reset is not mine i presume it belongs to the person who hijacked the account as well the security question is not one that i set up or know the answer to so I have no way to retrieve the account please help
