I received this message in my emails “Due to scheduled update of our mail server you are required to verify your account by clicking on the verify link below”

I received an email as listed below:

"Due to scheduled update of our mail server you are required to verify your account by clicking on the verify link below".

It looked like an email from Hotmail but I don't trust it.

Anybody else receive such an emal?  I did not open any link.

PC freezes when hitting a hyperlink in an email

When hitting a hyperlinks in a downloaded email.  OE 6 freezes. I have tried following instructions Article ID: 2652320 but cannot find add-ons when pressing START , Run and entering outlook/safe to bring up a list of add-ons. I am using Windows XP.

Hi all,

I'm trying to help my brother to get access to his email account, however microsoft states that the account has not been verified! 
when my brother tries to get the account verify it does not ask him to verify by text or call as it been set-up.

is there a uk call centre for Hotmail to be contacted on?

Still having issues with Admin Center and MX

This is my third attempt and making the MX record for tacummings.com - I have other domains using outlook.com but this domain I cannot seem to make work. I have verified both times before via nslookup that the MX record is the one that the Windows Live Admin console is asking for. Both times I waited several hours and had to revert back to google apps which they are currently using daily.

I decided to try over the weekend and its been hours and still the wizard says "It may take a few minutes to complete the changes to your service. Please check back later."

I will have to revert back to google apps today if it is not resolved. Added the issue to a previous ticket I had open in the community but decided to open a brand new ticket as noone has responded to it and its been a couple hours.

Any help is much appreciated. I have left it with the required mx record from windows live admin for review for the time being.

Can’t close live.co.uk account because ‘the server is having a problem’

I have been trying to delete a @live.co.uk e-mail address that i no longer use, but i keep getting the following error:

"Our server is having a problem. We're working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again in a few minutes."

I have had this error for the last couple of weeks.

I am trying to give my child's account permission, but when I get to the bit with the credit card, it only allows United States as a country.  How do i add my children's accounts to mine in the UK

RSS feeds failed due to server connect error code OxDEEC0006

I have used MS Office version 2077 since computer setup. First EVER error of any kind in MS Outlook. Going to Send/Receive will get my email, and the error message code OxDEEC0006 stating HTTP://go. Microsoft.com/FWLink/?LinkID=12793 RSS will not download. Ideas anyone?
