I have a file on the desktop which I brought into my e mail as an attachment.  I want to check it before I send it but when I click on it only the word remove appears. Not as good as Hotmail.  Any ideas on how to view the attachment within the e mail???

I don't particularly need or want verification or two-step security for my hotmail account. I've had this account for over a decade and have not had a single problem regarding hacking or spamming. I travel a LOT and do not want SMS or any level of verification associated with my email account whenever I sign in via an internet café or other location with a 'non-trusted' computer. Please, can I totally opt out of this process?

I will agree to a waiver that any unauthorised activity on my account is my sole responsibility and absolve Microsoft and its subsidiaries of any/all legal responsibilities if that's what it takes.

I just want a simple email service. Please, Microsoft.

Thanks,

Rob

I have not been able to fully access my account in outlook since last Wednesday afternoon. I can partially login and see my account details but I have no access to my email or contacts. I have tried to login using several browsers and have changed my password. I cannot access on my home computer, my work computer, or my phone. I can, however, access other email accounts through outlook. I need someone's help.

I cant figure out how to delete my Hotmail account can anybody help out?
over a month ago my hotmail was hacked and i couldnt get into it. after countless hours waiting for the poor made program to give me my reset password link it kept denying me. and because i cant sign in i cannot use my xbox live account, my email, games that require windows messenger, etc.
Hello,

In order to attach a photo to mail there are 3 options.
- Files as attachments
- Pictures inline
- Share from Skydrive

However, if I select 'Pictures inline' & add pictures in the body of the mail & even send it, the mail size becomes double. The picture is even in the body of the mail & also as attachment.

Please rectify this problem, If I select "pictures inline' option, the pictures should only be in the body, not also as an attachment.

How do I remove my child from an account that is closed on microsoft?? I changed emails and closed the account and then tried to add him to my new account and it wouldnt let me. The other account is already closed, so how can I remove him?
Why do I now have to sign in and use my password every time I use Outlook.com, especially when I click on the Keep Me Signed In box? This just started 2-3 days ago. Before, it always went to my inbox everytime I clicked on the Internet Explorer icon.

I have digital pictures all over the place and am looking to get them altogether so I have been looking at several cloud-based storage places and would like some more info about Skydrive.

Can photos be organized into folders and- more importantly- subfolders?

Can a photo be edited (red-eye fixed, cropping, color adjustment, etc.) without messing up the original? (One day, you might want to center one person and then later decide you really want to center another person and you may have cropped them out, initially so having access to the original would give you the ability to re-edit the photo.

Can photos be uploaded from several sources? E.G. do you have to always upload from a computer or can photos be "pushed" from a smartphone, etc.?

Can photos be made into slide shows or movies? Can photos be organized into books or calendars? Can music be gotten from iTunes?

Can you transfer photos (of various sizes) to a printer like Walmart or CVS. (Like one can do with Facebook- but FB only allows you to get smaller pictures.)

Can a program like Photoshop be set up to interface with Skydrive?

Can friends look at your pictures? If so, can you restrict what friends have access to?

If Skydrive isn't what I need, does anyone out there have an alternative for me to look at?

BTW, I have Windows 7.
