Hi,

One of my hotmail accounts was hacked by an e-mail that I received supposedly from one of my relatives (I actually kept that e-mail in case this would help to prove the facts), I committed the big mistake of typing the password for that e-mail account in order to see the supposed message I had received from my relative. When I did this I gave my password to the "hackers" and my account was taken.

I used the steps given by microsoft in order to recover it (filled out the form/questionnaire twice)but it didn't work because I created this account about ten years ago (more or less) and I honestly don't remember the answer I used back on that time for my security question  and I think this is "avoiding" microsoft to re open it for me.

I have other ways to prove I'm the owner of this account, so please let me know how to make this work.

Thanks a lot

Jefferson

I have tried several times to unsuccessfully log in to my work email account and keep getting a pop up that says;

This account can't be used to access Outlook.com

You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).

This has never happened before???
Help???

Hi everyone,
I just thought to make something clear for all those like me that don't have a clear picture on the Exchange Online service in the Office365 suite.

As Microsoft does not provide IMAP support in Outlook.com email accounts yet, I was looking for a way to have an Exchange integration onto an Outlook.com email account in order to sync messages on more devices.
More posts seemed to give the idea that the only chance to have anything different than POP in Outlook.com (at today) was to have Exchange Online service and have sort of "upgrade".
Well Microsoft Exchange Online service does provide indeed exchange support, but to get that benefit you need to register your own domain and then configure your email accounts as exchange.
Therefore if you like the all new Outlook.com email but like me you can't rely upon the POP protocol to work with, purchasing the Microsoft Exchange Online service won't make the trick.

By the way, i had the chance to look into Exchange Online for a couple of days and i have to say it has a pretty clear and easy to use interface, even for somebody like me who's not an IT person.

Has anyone had any luck with finding out usage statistics for SkyDrive accounts under a registered live@edu domain? All I want to know is how many people are currently using SkyDrive under my registered domain, so I can know how many people need to be notified for the switch to Office365.

I thought that would be a simple question to answer but I have not had any luck with customer support.
Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail  account.

Server Error: 0x80048849

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048849  I keep getting this error. It does not seem to link with outlook or hotmail. I have removed and reinstalled windows live it used to work easily before outlook. I do not have a phone to receive texts to get a code. what do I do?
I have a new account and I would like to shut my old email address down as somebody else manage to hack into it. Everytime I go onto my account settings, click close account and type in my password it come up with this message "Our server is having a problem. We're working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again in a few minutes."
It has been doing this for the past 5 days. Is there any other way I can shut my account down??
Hi
We are trying to get about 600 kids registered with skydrive so that they can start synching one note doc's but as we discovered this is impossible to do for some reason. what do you need from me to get this sorted?

the error we get
"Sign Up Error 450
You've reached the daily limit for creating Microsoft accounts. Please wait a day and try to sign up again or contact support for assistance."
I'm being cyber stalked by an annoying acquaintance so I need to close my Hotmail/Outlook account.  When I click on close account-->verify password-->click 'next' button...

The next screen says, "server is unavailable so page cannot be displayed".  Is this issue being addressed?
